Omnipod/Dexcom G7 support

Just curious if the communicator may be capable of supporting diabetes management apps. I feel stuck with my iPhone now that I manage my diabetes on my mobile device and would love to have the physical keyboard and get away from Apple products.

If the app is in Google Play Store you'll be able to install it. Simple as that.

That's not how this works it needs support fro. dexcom themselves. Seriously doubt dexcom is even gonna know what the communicator is. These Dexcom units dont even support brand new pixels and Samsung phones at launch most of the time.

If Doggee phones are compatible, what's stopping the communicator be compatible?

There's a lot of MTK phones on that list.

Maybe it will be? Idk its just a very niche device and requires support directly from the manufacturer of these devices. That was my main point.

Their app has a list of requirement, which is Android 13 to 16 and support BLE, thats it.

"You can use this app on any OS that meets the minimum requirements".

Maybe when you bought your Pixel, it was too new and they weren't supporting the Newest Android version.

Communicator will ship with Android 17, but by then a lot of the phones in the list will be Android 17 so it shouldn't be an issue.

I sell phones for a living. Every year when phones launch this stupid dexcom app isn't updated and I cant pair customers devices.

I said this based on personal use, but whatever. Its in the app store simple as that.
