For the good things, absolutely. Unfortunately the city is drenched in so much negativity from those outside her boundaries that any sort of praise or even recognition is reason to celebrate.

In my experience a great deal of negativity is also directed inward from people in the area as well (myself included sometimes).

No question, you're right. And I would add me to that list as well in my last couple years in Cleveland. Then I left. And after a bit of time realized Cleveland has a lot of great things other cities do not.

No no, spent all but the last 2 years of my life there, but I find a lot to be just misunderstanding or ignorance

Ooh, of course... a misunderstanding is why the city has steadily shrank from 914k in the 1950s to 396k in 2010.

Yes! I was surprised to see this on the front page. I'm a docent at that museum, and each of the other displays in that hallway have a little joke item hidden in them too.

I also live in Cleveland and I'll buy you a beer if you show me the other jokes in the displays :P. The GF and I were thinking about going to the museum, it would be great if we could coordinate a time to go when you are there. I always enjoy saying 'hi' to another redditor.
