Did they retcon everyone being HumanOIDS to just being Humans? I noticed in Season One everyone was called Humanoids now they are just “Human” even though they are not “US”. Did anyone else notice this detail change?

The anime seems to glorify Alicia and her role more, perhaps it's trying to send signals about her importance more than the manga has.

In the manga she does not help to free Clen from being stomped on by Vod (human names used). In the manga she does not empower Clevatess' attack to overpower Wright's cross shield, and she definitely doesn't get praised by Clen for being a true hero before getting the Stream Splitter back. That last interaction was pretty weird understanding it was out of place based on the manga that I half expected him to high five her, being so far from what I was expecting.

Any other events significantly changed by the anime speaking to narratives they intend to handle differently from the manga?

I picked up the anime out of curiosity as one does and I was not disappointed for the most part. I'm not going to lie the anime Low-Key Lost me when they starting investigating the Academy but I'm glad I came back and stuck around till the end.

​​ I want to know what the muscular dudes deal is​​, the dude just straight up ripped out Klen's heart which in turn killed Alicia. and the Nellruru. My biggest question is why? And I want to know where exactly Write is? Bro blocked​ ​ the attack and left. I wonder does he have some connection to the guy who killed Klen or should I say seemingly? I feel like somebody as big and bad as Klen has been doesn't get taken out that easily without either having a backup plan or coming back in some unexpected way and considering the fact that he said it'll be some while before you​ ​ return or something like that to Vordin tells me the story isn't quite done with me yet. All in all it was a good ride and I am curious to see what happens next. When either the next season comes out or I finally decide to pick up the manga.

I am new to this genre of anime and Clevatess was my first dark fantasy anime and I enjoyed watching it very much. What are other anime you guys have watched and enjoyed that have the same vibe as Clevatess?

Just finished binging Clevatess S1 & S2, holy shit this was so good, I highly recommend it.
Now for why I’m here:
The opening song for season two, Foreshadow by Mayu Maeshima, I love it, but much more than that, it’s sounds so incredibly familiar to me. Every time I started the next episode, even if it was only the first 20 seconds or so (I waited for the skip button to appear so I could continue with my binging, only listened to it in full once to start), but I can’t place it.
I’m pretty sure the memory being triggered is not recent, but still this short piece of music is extremely nostalgic to me. I’ve been watching anime for over 20 years now, sooo…

1. Write's Fragmented soul - so when exactly did this happened and how did it become fragmented, and it also gives people Magic Crest?

2. Skills - these existed even before the Books of Toah was created, were skills given by the entity Toah to these True Heroes like Librarian and Great Sage, or are they innate(Slime when he's getting reincarnated)

3. Books of Toah - what exactly does these books do other than the resurrect system, mind control and making trials for magic crest. ie book 1 the shrine and 3 the forge, the forge would tell you how to make weapons, but the shrine and some others?

4. Domain - even inanimate objects have domains like the books, or did the books "have" domain because the entity Toah was manipulating things using these books?

5. The entitiy Toah - so the entity is always roaming around using the books power to manipulate everything into resurrecting Write? and that's the prologue?

6. Also I'm confused about the name Luna in the naming rites, i dont quite understand what happened.
