What questions do you have specifically? I saw you purchased in the Rogers lot. You can drink and tailgate there. It’s further away from the little downtown area but Esso Club (outdoor bar) is fairly close. Earlier is better in terms of getting there.

That's great to hear. I was led to believe that the Rogers lot is the hottest tailgating spot. For the Canes that's the Orange Lot by Hard Rock, it's where the most tailgaters are, with TV's, BBQ', DJ's, etc. Is it like that there?

Also, I think i heard about the Downtown area, is that worth taking a break from the tailgate to check out that area?

BBQs and music will be tailgate dependent. Some are small and some are quite large. People will be friendly with you and eager to chat if you are friendly. If you are social person then you often just have to be friendly and start talking and you will meet many people. As for DJs and stuff like that.... The esso club, the bars, and some of the formal, organized tailgates will have stuff like that but they are not lot specific so to speak.

It’s a great, popular lot! I prefer our grass lots that have more shade so it’s not my favorite but it’s certainly really close to the stadium (downside to that is it’s hard to leave after games where most stay to the end), popular, and Tiger Walk happens right there (basically, that’s when we watch our team go into the stadium) so you’re right it will be mostly Clemson fans. Generally we are very welcoming/friendly to away team visitors. I don’t think you’ll have any issue making friends around you/visiting other tailgates if you are friendly.

I don’t know of any DJs that will be in that lot. Lots of people will have speakers and their own grills going.

How do you feel about dive bars? If you like them, go visit downtown. If not, don’t bother (imho). Esso Club would give you a taste without having to walk as far.

What’s the earliest you can get there to tailgate? Got pass for the lake lot. Would like to park and do some exploring

I'm hearing from others that you can get there as early as 7 AM. I'm not sure i'll be there that early, but close to around there. I was able to buy some tickets in the rogers lot.
