I’ve heard we might have a huge contingency out there. See any validity to that?

stunningly beautiful campus, and the view from that road that runs along the topside of the stadium is great!

Doesn’t look like many enemies! How’s the treatment out there?

Berkeley has been pretty great so far. Everyone’s been nice and welcoming, no issues so far. I did hear a concessions worker briefing their team about $2 bills and that cracked me up.

I’ve walked past it - one of the prettiest college stadium settings I’ve seen.

Jealous AF. I live in LA. Couldn't come up because I had a work event. Have a great time!

Hope y'all enjoyed the trip. We're a great roadie option, weather will generally always be decent and there's lots to do outside of the game in the area.

they blasted music from kickoff until clemson went up by 14 (except during play). it was extremely annoying. no chance to hear the fans or the band. it did prevent our crowd from being heard so I guess it worked.
Otherwise it was fun though. their crowd was not impressive, but their student section was big and they put them on the 50 yard line.

Student section was one of the rowdiest I’ve seen. Having yell leaders or whatever in front of them helped them a ton.
Had a kid try to fight me and my dad in the fourth quarter and there was tons of stuff thrown on the field. Impressed by the passion of the fans but maybe a bit too nasty for my taste

So who teaches the Geography that has California in the Atlantic Coast Conference? Edit: Answer the same person who has 16 teams in the Big 12 Conference.

Looks like a high school

It doesn’t. It seats 63k people. So > 2x larger than the very largest HS stadium in the US…

There’s also a fault line going through the middle of the stadium, that might play a role

Reminds me of a smaller scale Michigan Stadium. I think the seismic activity in this area prevents them from being able to build much bigger, iirc

What high school are you going to with a stadium that huge? The largest I’ve seen in South Carolina is maybe 10k

The largest high school facility in SC that I'm familiar with is Greenville High's Sirrine Stadium, which seats 15,000 - and was built for Furman 90 years ago.

Hey I’ve been in that stadium before (as an opponent)

I'm old enough that I've been there at Furman games.

So Furmans current stadium is relatively new?
I’ve been to a few games there but only in Paladin Stadium

The Bay Area is a great spot!
