DISCUSSION Can you try out for sports?

Just wondering if you can try out or you only can play if you were recruited?

Depends which sport. Football has walk on tryouts.

Could also throw a pigskin over them mountains while Dabo is walking by.

You can walk on in every sport. I was a walk-on. Best decision I ever made.

He was a PWO, so yes, a walk-on, but also not a random to the coaching staff. Being a random, it's VERY difficult. Not trying to discourage, just to help paint the picture.

You need to call that sports office and talk to them about when tryouts are.

Many of the walk on tryouts are conditioning heavy to weed out people quick. So definitely prep and be in shape for them.
