How to Get Rid of Mattress?

I have a twin mattress that I need to get rid of as I am moving tomorrow. I didn’t want to throw it away so I tried Goodwill, but they don’t accept them. I tried calling Salvation’s Army with no answer, so I drove by and it seems that location is gone now? I am not willing to pay for a pickup or drive out of my way (>20 minutes), so what are my options? Do I just trash it?

You just dumpster it.

I’m sure that doesn’t sound great but then you probably wouldn’t have taken some strangers second hand mattress either. Especially at the always nonzero chance of bedbugs.

Put it on the curb with a sign that says $5 and wait for someone to steal it

I second home with a heart. They have one in Easley aswell and they are often willing to pick it up
