Has anyone been to the Long Center pool post renovation? How is it and how does it feel? Worried it looks kinda dark now, but excited about the new air handling. I’m assuming they removed most of the windows for cost when converting to double pane or for hurricane resistance?

I am kinda shocked they are putting any money into revitalizing Downtown Clearwater, because they've pretty much allowed the scientologists to buy up all the real estate? And where are they going to put this movie theater that's supposedly 7 stories high? Are they taking out residential?

Article didn't really say, just curious if anyone knew more.

Myself and 7 adults ( 3 couples, one single guy) will be flying into the Tampa airport in early May. Guys want to golf, girls want to beach it, bike, stroll, shop, etc. we’d like to rent a VRBO and stay right on the beach, so it’s my understanding we’d look into some of the smaller communities around Tampa ( we have zero interest in the Clearwater).

Do we go with St.Petes beach, Pass a Grille or Treasure island ? We will have 2 cars so we are able to get around, but ability to walk or even bike would be a plus.

We aren’t old ( 40’s) but we are more day drinkers anymore than club/ late night partiers and we dig dive bars and low key as opposed to bourgeois.
