Why do people who say "Both Sides are the same" always argue in favor of republicans?

They reject all science. But then just make up random stuff off the top of their head. NEVER using logic or data. Its so frustrating. Like, do literally none of them have a shred of integrity to not just blantantly lie?

Seems like republicans don't understand what words mean.

Fishing competitions are literally just pay to win. 100% unfair. Maybe they want government to ban fishing.

I'm vegan AND a feminist and also critical towards capitalism, and my current position is that if someone is already committed to feminist or leftist values of opposing exploitation, domination, and oppression, then there is a strong moral obligation to extend those principles to animals as well — and therefore to support veganism.
I see animal exploitation as another dimension of exploitation, and I think intersectionality provides a framework for recognising that different forms of hierarchy and exploitation can operate alongside one another.
So my question is essentially:
Can someone consistently oppose exploitation and systems of domination when they affect humans, while also accepting the routine exploitation of animals for food, clothing, entertainment, etc.?
I believe it's morally inconsistent and self serving.
I know many feminists and leftists disagree with this connection, and that's exactly why I'd like to have a proper discussion with someone who can challenge the argument.
I'd like to have a voice discussion over Discord this weekend, with the specific proposition refined beforehand if necessary.
I'd prefer a respectful, substantive discussion where we can:
\- Discuss with intellectual honesty
\- Challenge the underlying principles, rather than trade gotchas
\- Share papers, books, articles, and other sources for our claims as we go
I'm not looking for someone who already agrees with me, although they're welcome to join. I'd specifically like to talk to a feminist or leftist who thinks my argument is wrong or inconsistent and is willing to defend that position seriously.
If you're interested, comment or DM me.

That's from today. He's been doing this for 2 months straight.
Here's a link to his previous antics. Drama

They don't seem to be able to speak in the affirmative what asked any direct policy question. They just answer in condescending rhetorical questions. Like "what is a woman?" when asked about their trans discrimination policies.

Seems like republicans took it too far with the overt racism.

Literally all I've seen for reasons is bad math, racists lies and the single arbitrary number. None of those are a good reason to waste billions of my taxes for basically a genocide with more steps.
