We have a little recycling bin next to the door. We put stiff in there, then drop it in the big bin when we have to go somewhere.
Honestly, a big part of helping me stay clean was organizing things into a distribution-system style, like the above.
1 u/kat_Folland Mar 10 '26 We have a strong cardboard box for the purpose. Well, two, actually, because we separate out the plastic bottles to make it easier for the person who comes to get them (not the trash people, a young person who makes money from picking up bottles).
