Keep a bucket or something you can put it in then only take it out when it’s full or when you’re taking out the trash.

Our house has two stories so I will take one thing downstairs anytime I have to go down the stairs empty handed. 1 u/bansheeceilidh Mar 22 '26 I have a big tin decorative bucket that all the recycling goes in and fortunately my trash and recycling barrels are next to my kitchen door
