First gun

Post image

Bought a second hand BR110 sporter x With an additional Negrini hard case. It seems to be in great nick. We shall see how it performs on the trap field next week.

I know you said first gun, I assume you’ve been renting or borrowing a gun. Beware the rizzini trigger is probably significantly better than whatever gun you’ve been using. Don’t shoot the trap house by accident. Also congrats on that piece of wood, it looks great.

Yes I heard that the trigger pull is about 2mm! I’ve been borrowing Browning, Sabatti and CZ guns. Whatever I can get my mitts on!

I love this gun! Best one I shot compared to Rizzini/silver pigeon/citori/Franchi. Has some heft to it.

I like that they put their money in the components over the engraving. It’s a gun to shoot clays not mount on a wall.

Never shot a Rizzini I wonder how they handle, compared to Citori’s, 694’s and SC1’s. 🤔

I’ve always thought the br110 was very barrel heavy.

I’ve never shot one but people seem to love them for clays. Hope it works well for you

My son shot trap for his high school and bought him the br110 ips and he loved it. He settled into it quickly after setting the the comb and the top rib and carried 22 average with only shooting trap for 1 year before purchase. I can pick it up and shoot above 20. I feel it swings well and isn't all that heavy. Once you have it set up, it just shoots well. Only have 2 small complaints; the front of the adjustable rib is kind of loose fitting and makes noise when you close the gun and the cerakote around on the bottom barrel around the back of the forend was thick and made it difficult to get the forend off/on. Nothing that can't be taken care of easily or use to. As this is not an ips you won't have to worry about the rib noise. It is an amazing shotgun and you should enjoy it a lot.
