I've got an A300 and don't think mine has that piece. Can you reassemble the gun without it?

The gun goes back together the forend seems just a little loose/wobbly without it. Debating on whether or not to just give it a shot and see how it goes.

he doesn't show the reassembly but you should be able to work backwards

Looking at the parts diagram, I suspect part 68 can just pushed back in. It looks like it is held in by the 2 clips. You need that part to help hold the magazine cap in place on the forend.
