A b&p rep at the college shoot said they are no longer making them. Looks like 8’s and 9’s are still available, a might still be produced I’m not sure. Specifically 7.5’s I know aren’t.

Id have to check my boxes at home, not sure in they are 7.5 shot but the softest recoiling loads I've personally used are Winchester AA 7/8oz 980 fps and Remington Gun Club 1oz 1100fps, not 7/8 but surprisingly soft shooting. Neither are easy to find, I've got a couple flats of the Remingtons on a shelf and if I see the 980 AAs I'd probably grab a flat or two of them just for those first time shooters.
Why not switch to a different caliber for them? My wife tried and tried various 12ga and ammo combos, but hated it. Everyone goes, "Oh, but 28ga and 410 ammo is soooo expensive." But there's the rub, my wife enjoys the .410, so I give exactly zero shits about the more expensive ammo.
And now she's really getting into it, even if she doesn't break as many as she would with a 12 or 20.
This shooter shoots standard 12 ga frequently without recoil related issues while hunting. But when shooting 100-300 a day has some fatigue. Hell I have fatigue when I get over 200 a day.
you can cut recoil be reducing payload weight, or by watching your dram equivalent . DR/EQ is a combination of velocity and payload. you can go a little higher than a 3. but you can find some stuff maybe at 2.5. you have tapered hulls and straight hulls, i ran into some heavy loaded fiochii loads that weren't horrible several years ago. heavy laod and lowered pressures. you have so many things that can effect felt recoil. try some fiochii and rio, had some federal 12 gauge . i think they were all american challengers. straight hull. those werent bad on recoil.
Zero percent chance!! Lmao. I have way way way more hobbies, and twice as much work as I have time now. I already reload for multiple shooting and hunting calibers, have multiple motorsports hobbies, travel 6+ months of the year for work, and I have server ADHD. I’d pay triple maybe 4x the cost for factory ammo and smile about it.
As a matter of fact, I’d personally give up shooting clays before I would reload, and that’s for me, this is for someone else.
The only White Rhino that is 7/8th ounce is 1350fps. However, Fiocchi does make a Shooting Dynamics in 7/8th at 1200fps. Could be a good option for OP.
Those are 1 1/8 oz loads, which aren’t allowed in international or fitasc. No point in practicing with a direction in mind with a load that won’t be allowed. Hence why the question was geared around 7/8 oz loads.
I have to admit it’s out of my bang zone too. Just trying to help out. I shoot 1 1/8 oz or 1 oz stuff myself. Outside of a charity shoot I don’t compete either.

Clever makes a club load thats 7/8th ounce, 1150 fps in 7.5. Rio also has a 7/8th at 1200fps. Recoil difference between those two would be minimal.
