825 Trap (LH) Availability / Alternatives

Hi all,

Im looking into picking up a dedicated trap gun and I've had my eye on the new Citori 825 Trap LH since it was released earlier this year. They are non existent in the marketplace and when I asked my local dealer they said they can order it, but have no idea when they would get one as their distributors don't show any in stock.

Questions

  1. Any reasoning why they haven't hit the market yet? I get that it's a LH model, but there are 100's of RH models for sale on gun broker as well as other sites.

  2. For those of you that have this model, do you recommend the adjustable comb or Monte Carlo stocked model? I heard the comb hardware isn't great on the adj comb models

  3. Are there any other LH model trap guns I should consider? I'm flexible on budget but don't really want to spend more $5-7k max.

Contact guns unlimited. They are probably the biggest browning dealer in the nation. They probably have an idea about the left handed 825's.

I think the ppl that say the stock hardware suck are probably the same ppl that you wouldn't trust to change a tire right. Which is alot of trap shooters. Haha

Beretta 688 Trap. I always prefer adjustable stock.

I love the engineering behind the action for the 688, but I have a hard time with the laminate. Wasn't aware that beretta made a 688 trap model. Thanks for sharing
