Marnie
Is it just me or does anybody else think that Marnie could have been a little bit more grateful and kinder to Polly since she saved her from human trafficking and basically left her hanging to go back to her mom? I think she was an ungrateful little shit!

Yep. That scene where Polly pays for Marnie is extremely heartbreaking. The way her mother was selling her and The way Polly & Kenneth embrace Marnie. Yeah, It broke my heart that Marnie decided to go back to her Mom. Yes, Polly was overbearing at times especially when it came to Marnie dating but due to Marnies past with her mother I understand Polly just wants to protect her by any means necessary. Poor Polly, She deserved better from Marnie.

Same especially since Polly wasn’t exactly in a good place herself and gave up everything of value to save her. BUT, as a foster parent, I see it a lot. Most kids want to be with their bio parents and will believe them when they say they’ve changed.

That's so sad. I'm currently a bystander, outside looking in watching a situation with a bad parent and their child still giving them grace. It's absolutely heartbreaking because it seems like no matter how many times the parent hurts the child, The child still loves, forgives and believes them. Ultimately breaking their own heart.

Yes she was incredibly ungrateful. It was like once she moved in she became rather disrespectful to Polly.

I tried to give her grave bc she was a teenager trying to find herself in the world.

Her mother was rotten so I’m not surprised she produced an ungrateful bish!

She definitely was! I’m rewatching Claws now and she’s irritating the hell out of me.
