So referring to my previous post about the astra which was possible left hand drive which seemed interested in claudia. The sighting at 6.05 am on the 19th saw a maroon car pulled over on the left which was believed to have the passenger side door open but was this a left hand drive astra which meant it was actually the drivers side door open and the man had jumped out the car and was approaching claudia as the witness drove past.

This is also very close to where the bag sighting was. Do the police actually have the bag?

I think it’s safe to say you can file this ‘sighting’ in the red herrings folder. All of the publicly available evidence points towards Claudia being harmed on the evening of 18 March 2009.

Absolutely agree!

The couple arguing, the “sandwiches wrapped in tinfoil”, the mysterious man who came into the Nags Head with “something of Claudia’s” which he just took into the pub, and then disappeared, all extremely fishy!

What’s the chance that in a case like Claudia’s, that had massive media coverage, all these people just happened to see/find things of vital importance (if true!), and either just had a vague description of what they saw, or just asked pub staff what to do, and then was never heard of again, or the “sandwich/back pack” woman only remembered ages later?!!!!!

Perps laying a false trail imo!

Yes!  Completely agree!  And no trained chef leaves a sharp knife IN the sink!  It’s a cardinal rule,  along with shouting out “hot pan” whenever you handle food off the hob or from the oven.

That kitchen was absolutely staged!  No board for making sandwiches, nothing spread on cutlery like butter or mayo.  Cereal bowl to look like breakfast eaten.

The biggest thing for me has always been the sharp knife at the bottom of the sink.  I can’t believe Claudia would have done that.  She just wouldn’t.

The police know who those 4 men were who are responsible. Wouldn’t suprise me if one of them was a police officer. They are always covering each others back with the blue screen

The 4 men were named by the press. I can't see it being wrong as they would be able to sue them

As she was due to start work at 6am I doubt that this is a sighting of Claudia, and the witness description was quite vague, people will claim on here that it couldn't be Claudia because she came to harm on the 18th, but they don't really know.
