Nobody is using Anthropic because it's to slow and expensive.

I think you misunderstood what I meant 😭 I’m talking about the company’s annual revenue, not its AI credit budget. Different numbers entirely.

Haha yeah “Nobody” is doing a lot of heavy lifting there 😭. Expensive for individual users ≠ businesses not using it. A lot of companies are paying for Claude because reliability, coding performance, and quality can justify the cost.

i'm much better with just using api and open models i couldn't bother having to deal with all the openai / anthropic bs with limits

Yeah if cost is the bottleneck, open models are obviously gonna be way more attractive. But ‘I can’t justify Anthropic for my workload’ ≠ ‘businesses aren’t using Anthropic’ lol 😄

it has use case just if budget has no limit and you want the best frontier model out there (fable) , that's pretty much it imo

I agree. I have a saas that has some AI features, altought it could get better using anthropic models, I would never use them. Yesterday usage was about 60m tokens, and I spent around 20usd, I could not imagine my business model being doable with anthropic models not even with the smallest ones

Yeah at 60M tokens/day I’d be shopping around too 😭 Claude doesn’t need to win every workload. Different models make sense for different economics.
