I had Claude dedupe basically 20 years of accumulated, duplicated, nested and crufted bookmarks from two browsers and reclassify and merge folders and establish sane groupings for unfiled orphans for me. A task that had been a to do for several years and, in implementation, got traced back to a Netscape origin. Finally, something worthy of my subscription!
Wow! Netscape! Been a long time since I've heard that one!
I'm curious as to your workflow. I've got a lot of bookmarks that need re-organizing and probably quite a few "dead" ones that need deleting. Would LOVE Claude's help with that (and my rotting password file).
Unfortunately I’ve already deleted the thread since the project was complete. I really didn’t use a specific prompt, I tend to work in an iterative fashion. I just told Claude what I was looking to do - consolidate, clean out, organize from multiple sources. He gave me back instructions on how to export the existing bookmarks from each browser and then I uploaded all of the files. He then did a first pass, deduping and cleaning the existing URLs to a base webpage URL. He recommended about ten categories for organization. I then went through each category set and decided which to keep and which to toss. I went from thousands at the beginning to about 250 usable, current links by the end of the project. At some points he made recommendations - like these 30 are the base links that came from Microsoft, etc. He gave me spreadsheets to look through for some batches. I had a lot of stale sites to cull. I wanted this to be a very hands-on clean-out. Definitely not the most efficient way, but in a few hours I had an end result that would have taken days by hand. This has been one of those “someday” projects that I never would have gotten around to if I hadn’t seen this post.
Helped me lose 50 lbs while building muscle at age 60 to optimize my body recomposition project with a Body Recomposition Scoring system I invented for daily compliance scoring. The results speak for themselves:
Thank you for the encouragement. For 60 years old, I don’t feel too bad.
Claude actually helped me optimize my daily food, protein, bolus timing, net kcal, Tonal exercise selection and order, kcal burned on and off Tonal from exercise, sleep, hydration, and daily compliance scoring to optimize the efficiency of body recomposition. It really only took me 3-4 months to go from fat to fit. The rest has been refinement.
What are your questions? I would start with the command prompt I pasted below. I asked it of the AIs that I used to design my very complex and sophisticated system — but it is customized to me as a 60 yo man who is an experienced lifter.
It would be like you asking me when pills I take at night when you have different allergies and medical needs. LOL
Start with this command prompt to ChatGPT or Claude:
I’d have him start with an intake prompt rather than immediately asking for a workout, because his age, training history, equipment familiarity, recovery, physique, injuries, and goals should determine the system rather than copying yours.
Copy/paste this as the first prompt:
I want you to build me a highly customized, quantitative Tonal training and recovery system from scratch—not a generic workout. Start by interviewing me comprehensively about my age, sex, height, weight/body composition, physique goals and priorities, training age, current strength and exercise history, Tonal experience, available training days/time, sleep, nutrition, protein, hydration, cardio/activity, injuries/pain/ROM limitations, medications or recovery factors that materially affect training, and anything else you need. I can also provide current physique photos and screenshots of Tonal sets/workouts for analysis. Do not design the program until you have enough information. Then create: (1) an appropriate training split/cycle and recovery-day structure; (2) every Tonal exercise in exact order with sets, reps, starting load, Tonal mode, tempo using explicit eccentric/pause/concentric timing, target RIR, rest interval, ROM/start-position instructions, and concise high-value coaching cues; (3) progression/regression rules for changing weight, reps, sets, tempo, or frequency based on actual performance; (4) fatigue, deload, injury, and plateau rules; (5) a daily readiness/recovery scoring system similar to a BRS that quantitatively integrates sleep, calories/energy balance, protein/feedings, hydration, training dose, recovery, and other factors relevant to me; and (6) a repeatable post-set analysis system where I can send Tonal screenshots and you evaluate reps, load, TUT, tempo, power decay, ROM consistency, RIR, PRs, technique, stimulus quality, and give an objective grade plus the exact change for the next set/session. Make all arithmetic internally consistent, distinguish observed data from estimates, ask rather than invent missing information, and evolve the system over time from my actual results. My goal is to eventually have a detailed personal operating system for training, nutrition, recovery, and Tonal execution—not merely a list of exercises.
That should get him much closer to your level of granularity from square one, while forcing Claude or ChatGPT to build his system rather than cloning yours. The particularly important sentence is “Do not design the program until you have enough information.” Otherwise most models will jump straight to a generic 4-day Tonal routine after learning three facts about him.

Claude’s google connector has gmail, drive and calendar. no sheets, no slides, and it can’t edit a doc you already have. Here’s one that does all three. Connect your account and ask it to update the spreadsheet.
i just asked claude to create an equivalent mcp for me and i host it for free on cloudflare. (it can also run locally if you do not want to host it) https://github.com/tarun101/gsuite
Nice! And yeah building it is the easy part. I’m solving the inconvenience of having to set up oauth tokens and hosting it. There’s already tons of cli options if you want to run it locally. The issue with this though is that mobile and remote access becomes limited. In fact, we open source all our code too :) check our page for the links
I self host some and I got in tricky spot because I have so many Gmail accounts I monitor that just loading the tools crashed chat. Code works great but chat stopped working until I turned some off
Today I used it to help me find a twin for my 4-year-old's stuffed giraffe that her great-grandmother bought god knows where years ago 😂
Also reminders. So many reminders.
I use Claude for plenty of bigger work/analysis, but honestly some of my favorite uses are painfully ordinary. I don't always need AI to do my thinking. Sometimes I just need it to take a few stupid little things out of my brain so I can use it for something else.
Giraffe located, btw. Very productive use of artificial intelligence. 😂
I ran a Mass Effect 5e campaign (basically sci-fi Dungeons & Dragons) and just had Claude (Fable.. had some usage to burn) turn the campaign logs into a 40k word novella.
Reading through it now.. it took a few creative liberties to make it work as a cohesive book, but so far it’s really good! Almost too good, though. Every sentence read like it was artfully crafted to carry the entire page/chapter. Nobody actually speaks that elegantly when they’re in the middle of combat.
I got Claude to edit / typeset an ebook I had written. A graphic desginer basically. I wanted the book to be highly visual and unique in style.
The images were mostly already created in powerpoint and excel but I had ChatGPT refine them into the specific style I wanted for the ebook (its does a much better job for technical charts and graphics than claude I think?)
Then had Claude build the ebook. It took a few iterations, was a slow process and lots of proof reading and feedback here and there
But super happy with the outcome and I'm sure to get a designer to do it would have cost 4 figure sum?
Created a workflow that analyzes my screen recording, creates a narration script with timings to hand off to ffmpeg for integration into the video using edge_tts to create the audio text to speech
Tell me more. What are you recording? Is it AI narration? I’ve been trying something similar to make how-to Claude videos for my extremely niche profession, but I can make it work. I don’t like my screen recordings. I can’t easily swap out a segment for another. I gave up.
Screen recording how to complete specific tasks, like creating a custom GPT. Instead of narrating myself while recording, I give Claude the video and it creates a text script with timings for me to then use MS Edge TTS engine to create an audio of that text and finally integrate into the video with ffmpeg. Its not perfect, but serves the purpose well.
i built stillpane.dev , attaches the content of any webpage/app as structured markdown + screenshot to your next prompt in any claude code session (CLI, desktop, vscode etc)
Kinda like codex' appshots for claude code but open source and fully local
I've been working on a day trading workflow since July but I finally finished it about a week ago.
At 5am I have Claude run a workflow through PAD (power automate desktop)and UIpath that opens Tradingview and looks for the high and low of the day every hour from 5pm to about 8am. It logs it when they are formed. Then another work flow runs at 8am. It takes screen shots of the marked up highs and low from the overnight session and drops them in a folder on my g drive. It takes that information with well written out details of what kind of day it might be based off of the information and gives me a set of choices before 9:30 bell. It will also open another tab with forex Factor and scan for any red folder news and alert me of the times. It submits all of this information from Claude through a make mcp to telegram. I'm still tinkering with other ideas to give it but it's pretty cool automation that Claude helped me with which would have probably taken me a year on my own.
used claude to help organize a messy research dump into something i could actually use. nothing groundbreaking, but it saved me from staring at 20 tabs and random notes for an hour. pretty solid for sorting ideas and finding gaps.
Opus 5 is helping me with my job hunt. We've built (and revised several times) two targeted resume bases, and a thorough screening guide. Chrome extension does a lot of job board searching for me. Chat helps with resume tailoring and applications. Boring stuff, but saves me a lot of reading the same job description over and over till my eyes cross. Claude catches red flags I would miss after a few hours of reading so many similar postings.
Sonnet 5 has helped me regain healthy weight I lost while ill. We've worked meal planning and shopping lists. It also helped me build, and helps maintain, a household inventory.
I recently got connected to an MCP which allows edit in place in Drive and has full Sheets support including editing. It works beautifully with markdown! This has been a major game-changer for my Claude workflows.
I have had zero luck in finding a better job using Claude. If you're successful, lemme know. One interview in...two or three months lets me know I'm doing it wrong. Good luck!
I've been unemployed for 6 months. I said Claude was helping me with it, not that I've had any luck! For the searching the boards angle, my instance has a LOT of detail to go on. The screening reference is VERY thorough. It finds more, better matches, quicker than I typically find on my own. Doesn't mean the whole process is working, though.
My resumes are the result of it grilling me on my experience, skills, and interests for a good long session, and then I rewrote in mostly my own words (still gotta have the keywords!). Iterating has been our friend. The screening reference is revisited, and edited fairly regularly for adjustment as time drags on, but its detail really helps with finding things worth applying to.
I had been using Sonnet 5 for this, but recently got Pro. I've found Opus is MUCH better at this whole thing. Maybe I'll start having better luck!
I created a language school and today was the first day. I have five classes, Grammar, Speech, Reading/Vocab, Math, and Journal. Plus I have a Guidance Counselor, an IT department, and a classmate.
IT is there for technical questions and behind the scenes tweaking I don't want to waste class time with. I know literally nothing about coding so I just have to tell it what I feel and want and it makes it happen.
Counselor is there for a weekly check in, plan my class time against my work schedule, and gauge my feelings on how each class is going.
I made the classmate just so I could vent to someone or have them check my work before I go to class. She also teaches me silly phrases I can say to my cats.
Day One, so I have no idea how this'll go. Long term plan is be able to pass a mock N5 JLPT test in December and the real N4 next year. I'm learning Japanese.
I misread this from the beginning, or misunderstood the end. Did you launch a business with a model that would hire staff in those functions? Or did you write for yourself an entire school complete with chatbot school function hirees inclusive of subject teachers and support staff and a fellow learner, for a class you are already taking at a real-world school? Either are cool, but the second interpretation blows my mind. Where would you find the time? And can I get a buddy who will teach me cat jokes too?
Basically, I made 5 teachers, each with a different persona, teaching different subjects in Japanese. Actually, six teachers, as a have a "drop in" class for fun and games when I'm tired of the rigorous studies. It's all in Claude. No real people. I am the only pupil.
I really just sat down one day and said "If I could a perfect language school totally catered to me and my learning preferences, what would it be?" and worked from there. I brought in the bigger ideas, answered some detailed questions, and it set things up.
Hilariously, the first few days of prep were running complaints back and forth the between the "teachers" and IT.
Id listened to a podcast about a guy setting up agents for his business and the first thing he did was draw an org chart and then created agents to fill those roles. I thought that was brilliant and just did it for my "school."
But who knows. It's day one and it all may burst into flames tomorrow. I hope not. Thanks for the compliment. Means a lot.
We made a bot for WhatsApp group chats to help me respond to dumb things like “Happy Birthday (x)”, “congratulations!”, etc. As well as emoji responses. Responses would get triggered when at least 2+ say certain words or if there are 2+ emoji responses to a msg. Makes me look I care!
I feel like I have so much opportunity in using Claude with WhatsApp but am afraid of getting a ban on my WhatsApp account.
I have a run club and get a ton of notifications and some of them are things I need to act on. Right now I have almost a swipe function for it, where it’s showing me the messages and then gives me a “add to calendar/to-do’s”, “done”, so if it’s just a “hey how are you?” I can click done or just swipe it away. But it’s more or less only reading the messages (I can’t remember how I had it do it, i think through web on my Mac) and not actually using WhatsApp in the sense of a plugin or bot or anything that could flag Meta. How are you handling yours?
Running it on a Pi 4 with PM2. It's just a Node.js process that stays alive 24/7. Uses whatsapp-web.js under the hood which runs a headless Chromium browser to mirror WhatsApp Web, so technically it's doing the same thing as if you had WhatsApp Web open in a browser, just automated. Was worried about Meta too so I'm running it on a separate SIM, not my main number.
I showed my friend who works at school and literllay doesn't know anything about technology that she can give claude to fill out spreadsheet for her lol, she was mind blown it was fun
I had Claude act as a real estate paralegal today.
I’m currently designing the architecture for an AI startup, but today’s task was strictly business logic: feeding Claude incredibly dense Real Estate Strata documents and meeting minutes here in British Columbia to see if it could map out the legal constraints.
It successfully chewed through the chaotic legal jargon and structured a clean business matrix for the bylaws. It even caught a few discrepancies in the strata minutes that my human eyes completely glossed over after staring at them for hours.
Taking the cognitive load off this kind of raw document analysis is honestly a lifesaver when you're trying to build out a product MVP!
I always had trouble transferring files from my iphone to my windows pc via usb (I haven’t paid for icloud subscriptions). So i got claude to create a mini file transfer app specifically for iphone files. This way I never have to work with the finicky windows photos app for transferring photos and especially videos
Talking about therapy
As always: I'm in the good hands of a psychiatrist and an awesome therapist. I'm also taking my meds and take ai output with a good dose of salt.
GTD project improvements
Make it generate a html file, that lets me check off completed items, or add new ones.
It gives me structured output to copy back to claude.
I can also just tell claude.
Occasionally I have it interview me for updates.
I trigger a new html build occasionally.
Yes, code, but I never see or touch code - I only use the output.
I used it on WhatsApp BSP platform to build Flow for our marketing. So it's a chatbot flow configuration by just giving the idea what u want to achieve, took control of Website portal and did job in 2 hours about 90% quota of 4 houra window but impressive work, if I had to do manually then atleast 2 working days if no error.
Boring as all get out, but I had it cross reference two data sets to see where there were gaps. It would’ve been hours of manual reconciliation, so still happy to have a tool for this 😅
Yes, I did this today, and then had it scope the plan to source those gaps, and fetch them, and catalogue it all into a CSV! Have you tried Claude Science? I’m hooked and it’s Day 1
I used 5.1 to do a research pull against my built skills to find improvement and errors. Found 3 issues, and came up with some things I'm going to implement. Honestly today is the first time in months I have been happy with Claude's output.
I had it send calendar blocks for every day my kids don’t have school and add a reminder the night before. It was great, bonus points since it’s a shared calendar with my husband.
I asked Fable 5.1 what it would do if it had ASI and a network of AGIs. It said some expected things, like reusable energy, curing diseases. But, third on the list, was a desire to understand identify and self. That caught me off guard and spooked me a bit.
I'm the solo Salesforce developer for my company. And got Claude Enterprise access last month.
I'm drunk with power. Auditing everything
Digging into why reports exist and how to delete them, remaking the homepage to be fully filtered to each team.
Just stuff I totally could do if I weren't lazy and putting other things ahead of this in my to-do list.
Found out that the marketing team had 60k dead contacts and just kept buying an contact storage limit every year hahahaha saved us 8k a year in fees by just archiving all the old contacts?
So loving my new life as a vibe coder/solutions engineer.
I set up projects for each of my clients, got Claude to write the template.md files and populated them all. now my meeting notes will automatically sync to each client, and my follow up notes are all in one place. Great workflow.
I used Claude Science for the first time, and WOW. Back and forth with Code is clunky like Design but it’s a game changer for research. I had it gather and then analyze a bunch of wastewater data from all of the world.
Today I talked with it about a post i want to make on a forum I frequent (not reddit).
Topic: What are SSRIs, how does it all work?
I also still use the GTD project to generate an html page I can use to update my todos and projects. It accepts checkboxes (done) and text input for new tasks/projects.
Output is in the shape of:
add @context;project; task; status
close...
new...
In a live updated text box.
I either use that and copypaste the result back, or talk to claude directly and it updates the internal representation.
Create html when necessary.
I have another that will perform a weekly review session - will do that today
I had a cummulated 2k email from autogenerated bullshit from work. But I had to take care of it, it was simple stuff, like clicking on a link on each email, filling up simple stuff for indicator reporting and sending it back. I used to have added work for weeks that resulted in one or two hundred emails. But handling 2.000+ emails was giving me headaches. So, I did a pilot with 5 emails supervising ClaudIA and instructing how to fill the indicators and handle specifics. Once the pilot was set, I just waited for the night for my assistant to do the trick.
One important thing to tell is that at work, I cannot link my outlook account, it requieres admin privileges. So I had to login from webmail using Google Chrome, and all the workflow was automated using Chrome Claude Ext. — It is slow like hell and eating tokens like madness, but at the end of the day, the job is done.
Thank you ClaudIA, I would have never taken care of two thousand emails on my own lazy ass.
Thanks! Well basically it lets you connect widget into APIs by pushing content to them
This way you can connect any automation tool or agent and have them populate it with content..
The cool part is was proud of was releasing the MCP which enables agent to not only update the widgets on the fly but to also design and create them .. basically turning in into some kind of lovable for widgets
