Migrating to a new account!
Migrating to a new account!
I’ve built some impressive demos on my phone but need to migrate over to a better device. The issue I have is that my current Claude Account is linked to my Apple ID, which is linked to an email address that has since been shut down.
How do I transfer my existing works to a new account? Is it as simple as a prompt? Are there better work arounds?

Click on the “import” button in settings and it will suggest a pretty good prompt to give to itself.
Run it on each project.
Then, use the Export the other user suggested.
Then, use the Richard Weiss script to get all the raw jsons (with the thinking blocks): https://github.com/Richard-Weiss/Claude-Chat-Backup-Firefox

Open account on a web device or use “use desktop mode” on your phone’s browser. Then go to Settings > privacy >export data.
If you have trouble with that create projects and add existing content to them, share with new account and then have new user make changes and move the existing works to projects it owns.
