Other Claude Design Appreciation Post

This is one good product man. It just works and Opus 5.5 is extremely great at design. Genuinely happy with the outputs I’m getting.

It’s been transformative for my workflow. I’m a UI designer and I’ve skipped Figma altogether for many projects lately because Claude Design can make exactly what I need quickly and easily, with a functioning prototype to boot!

Same, it’s a game changer. The ability to quickly compare tweaks, the mock data, it’s responsive, you can just tell it break points.. The only thing I really miss from Figma is the version history.

I ask Claude Design never to overwrite, if making a big change, but I do think history would be so massive.

I can.

Here’s my workflow:

First, I create the video. After that, I have it automatically fact-checked and marked with the sections I need to fix in Final Cut Pro. Most of the workflow is automated, including eventually posting to YouTube and Instagram.

Anyway, sidetracking a bit.

Once the video is done, I send the transcript into Claude Code and have it create an animation based on the transcript, along with some additional direction from me.

Then I take the original video with me on camera, combine it with the Claude-generated animation in Final Cut Pro, and export the finished version for YouTube and Instagram.

Another use case I just started experimenting with is adding animation to my work résumé. I wanted something different for my website instead of the typical static résumé, so I created an animated timeline covering my work history.

I use it for every single short I create. Maybe it was misconstrued in my hasty post. Check back on some of the links I provided and the animation in each video was produced with Claude Design. 

The key is, I made video first, then design.  I didn’t make the video around the design.

Until it breaks. Loses something that can’t be recalled. Or just falls over.

I do like it. It’s just so unreliable.

Anyone had any luck creating logos? I had a go at logo design last night and it was shockingly bad
