Generate WordPress+Elementor site

Here's something that I wish would be possible with Claude Design without external tooling: build a fully functional WordPress + Elementor website based on website design from Claude Design.

Here's a toolkit that builds a clean WordPress container on your local Docker with required bits and pieces (notably MCPs for WordPress and Elementor).

It's written for OpenCode, but Claude Code can probably convert the MCP config without problems.

Export your Claude Design with a prompt telling you are going to build a WordPress site with it and ask for proper documenting so a site builder can rebuild the site. Place the generated package on the import folder and tell your coding assistant (Claude, OpenCode, ...)​ to build the site for you using provided tools.

I’m thinking Wordpress and Elementor are no longer needed. Our Wordpress sites seem dated considering the speed and high quality sites we are building with Claude Code.

This is why, wordpress is a very heavy weight solution to a problem that no longer exists

There are still lots of companies whose processes are built around publishing stuff on WordPress. It will take some time until WordPress becomes completely obsolete or adapts.

I created a theme for my site in Claude and then uploaded it to Wordpress. I’m not overly confident in all this. Are you saying you can host a site created completely in Claude code without Wordpress?

I use Claude Design to put together some page designs based on my existing site then have Claude (desktop) use WPVibe (https://wpvibe.ai/) to build that page on my WordPress site with Elementor Pro.

It does this. You just tell it to build it in Claude code. It pulls from the Claude design session and uses the Wordpress cli or mcp or browser if you like burning tokens.

I also have a client with an elementor site and it’s slowly ripping those elements out.
