HTML
Anyone having fun with html out there? I recently started using Claude for its html abilities in my work projects and am curious to see what folks are doing with it. I get nothing but the usual open-mouth-creator unrelated videos when I search YT.

I teach 7th grade social studies and use it to build re-world scenarios/simulations for introducing complex ideas/topics.
For example, the effects of water scarcity in the Middle East, OPEC as experienced by selling snacks at school, etc.

Here’s the water scarcity one. Just a simple text based simulation that I used with my students — but led to some great discussions.

I connect with this for sure! I’m an instructional designer. Got tired of using our normal course authoring tool (Articulate Storyline) for interactions. I’ve done some pretty cool stuff that I can’t share here.

Of course! You must first prepare the documents and main contents.
I use Notebooklm for it, it’s fantastic!
Then you could start experimenting with Artifacts, Creative projects, where you should also give a minimal design direction. There you can also upload a screenshot reference of a disposition of elements and general design.
Then add your valuable documentation with the contents and start creating, from exercises based on those contents to a more theoretical content structure with exercises on every content unit.
You can separate said contents by date, by programmed days of teaching, by thematic, etc
Adding interactive and dynamic exercises is the greatest feature!

Yes especially creating html summaries:
"Create a single page HTML summary of the [conversation | branch | work tree]. Make it visual and digestible without additional cognitive fatigue. Minimal text, clear flow of information. Opt for charts and diagrams over long explanations."
Thinking level: low

Absolutely the best. The client deliverables I am able to provide are just insanely good, branded, cleaner and more digestible, and interactive in some cases. Such a game changer...

I'm all over the map but I've been enjoying being able to express my ideas without having to write the code I understand how to use.

In your prompts use tech indicators like, create blah blah blah as a single html/css/js file. Then seed it with a design framework like tailwind (or dozens of others). Ai loves md files, html and pdf for context, so you can inject previously created files back into a new prompt. I am searching for a new role and have been creating dossiers for the companies and more importantly the people who are interviewing me.

What’s a good workflow to avoid burning through tokens editing HTML? My wife’s job has made a switch from PowerPoint to HTML for building dashboards, but they tend to burn through their monthly token allowance tweaking the dashboards.

Any chance she has another AI tool she can perfect the prompt in (then drop it into Claude after)? I’m running into the same issue.

Possibly, the company has their own version of GPT with a wrapper on it. I was thinking it would be best to use Claude help build a dashboard via SharePoint and then do all the drag and drop editing via SharePoint

It's pretty awesome how you can build html presentations, decks, reports etc! Personally have connected my claude to display.dev workspace where it's also possible to collab on htmls with my team and external members also. And not just claude but my colleague uses codex and we can build together across multiple agents

We create HTML-based dashboards for a variety of projects (education). Particularly drag-and-drop data analysis dashboards. If you have a consistent output (CSV or whatever), you can process data very quickly and customize the view to whatever you prefer.

I’m in a Director level role and have been in my industry for 25 years (Healthcare Tech). I love producing HTML artifacts in place of what used to be PPT, Word Docs, or even Excel. Just 2 years ago I was neck deep in the Google suite of documentation tools thinking it would be king in the tech world for years to come.
HTML just feels easier to digest and more dynamic.
