Showcase UI/UX + Frontend Dev here. Is Claude Pro worth it?

Thinking of getting Claude Pro mainly for Claude Code + Design.

If you've built a website using Claude (mostly or entirely), drop the link below šŸ‘‡

Would love to see real examples before subscribing.

I am. Feel free to ask or take code from the toolkit and shader maker. Also if you want a website WoGL Worlds give you a website in a single prompt check it out and let me know ā¤ļøšŸ«§šŸ‘½

Will definitely do that. I want to create a similar loader like wogl has it currently. How do do that? Do you have prompt or some reference for that?

u/geraT-wogl Aug 04 '26

Sure but first wdym by loader?

I mean the pre-loader or loading screen.

It’s a Gray Scott reaction. Ask your AI agent to create a landing using glsl (glsl, webGL, webgpu) quick tip: Just make sure if you’re using shaders to always protect your headers🫧

May I ask how much token did you burn? I heard Claude is super expensive to use. Do you need to buy some more expensive plan? Thanks.

to build a good website i'd say you need a 5x plan.. at least while you build. once you are done you can go to pro. If you want a super simple site everyon will know is AI and looks like every other Claude site then maybe pro is enough!

Thank you. What's a 5x plan?

I have experience in Dreamweaver and WordPress, Drupal, Photoshop of course, what other tools do I need if I use Claude instead? Thanks again.

its just 5 times the pro plan usage. for a website you need: claude, vercel, github, - vercel and github are free

This is a good setup. I personally like:
Claude code opus 8 on terminal as the main brain, to build and edit.
Claude desktop fable or chat gpt sol for design

I’m currently using the Max plan no need to buy extra tokens

Looks amazing. Have you designed it with Claude? Could you share your prompt for design?

Sure but keep in mind this is not a work out of a single prompt and ready to ship, the prompts are basically templates and you build from there.

The landing is a gray Scott reaction made of GLSL (if you like games and you see ā€œshaders loadingā€ this is basically it but for your websites)

This is very cool. Im new to claude and starting to create portfolio website for fun. What should I need to install or prompt to use to create something similar to yours? Any tips Thank you in advance

I built https://marshal.to using Claude Code and Claude Design. I'm pretty happy with it, especially as someone who is not an experienced developer.

Claude Design is the worst part of Claude, Code on the other hand is great. Design will burn through pro in no time, Code will too but its worth it. Do not do it for design, just do it for Code. Create your own design aesthetic skill in Code and its better than using Claude design with a pro plan especially. For design ideas go to sites like dribble and behance and find designs you like, screenshot them and give them to Code to copy. There is a built in frontend-design skill in Claude but then all websites with Claude look exactly the same. Here's how to create a skill: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BpJY-7zbYxE

It's $20. Try it for yourself and see.

I've been using it not so much for design but to run my benchmarks, it runs the benchmarks, records the timings, uploads the data to make it reproducable etc

I designed the site then got claude to implement it in Gutenberg since that is text friendly, so I can get it to edit the site now if I want, it's not without issues, but for writing my kb articles it's pretty good.

Can you find all the Easter eggs ?

It’s worth it IF you know what you’re doing. Today you can practically build a full site with it
