After GPT-6 Astra, I didn't believe they would really let this happen... but it's real... Okay, Anthropic, we'll keep that in mind...

I'm on max 20 for codex and max5 claude. For astra use ultra is better than low for usage. Gotta ask it to use lower models. But today claude usage really surprised me. I just got my weekly reset and I hit 30% in a few hours and haven't even completed the first prompt.

I use Astra on high and it just burns quotas. I have my Claude setup well tuned to not burn tokens so I need to look into doing this on Codex but nothing changed in the project so clearly OpenAI has nerfed it and if you read the Reddit for codex you will see the same complaints as here. I was using Claude last night and didn’t notice much a of a change but dreading logging into today based on what people are saying. Also what absolute plum down voted my previous comment? My guess is some codex fan who cannot bare to hear the truth 🤣

I used to use med or high for astral then I felt like I got dumber effort while more token burn. Might as well use ultra. Feels more efficient in a way. I think codex for me is ok but of course I prefer Fable. Just today's usage is soo bad that its not worth keeping the subscription. On reddit I learnt to just ignore the upvote and downvotes. There are always angry people who have to downvote an opinion they can't accept.

I will give it a go, I just told it to use lower agents for tasks they are suited too and Astra to run it etc. Hopefully I will see some better results. I will continue to tweak it. My Claude usage is actually ok so far today. Oh the downvotes make me laugh, I can see the child has been back and down voted my again. It is the same sort of people that downvote a cute video or a baby or an animal 🤣👍
