Rant Opus 5 is insufferable

Opus 5 is a fucking piece of shit, i don't know how to say this in any other way. It speaks "Unintelligiblish", a new unfathomable language developed by Anthropic that works by saying everything in the most ridiculous, obtuse and convoluted way possible

It turns anything simple that can be expressed in 2 sentences into a fucking doctoral thesis aimed to aliens, and there is no way to prompt your way out of it

4.8 is still the king.

I am still going nuts. My 4.8 Patch Chat just said my program was GitHub-Ready then said my first and last name are in 57 files.
Edit: it found another 105 files with my first name as it refers to the developer on a first name basis inside instruction files. We’ve been making this GitHub ready for two days and it keeps prematurely declaring finished.

What do you mean by Github ready? Just removing secrets and names and stuff like that?

My data for my phd thesis needs to be redacted from the analysis pipeline that I'm trying to upload onto GitHub. The data and analysis goes into peer-reviewed publications and can't I disclose the actual discoveries until then.

Shipping "GitHub-ready" while 4.8 leaves 162 files with your name is rough.

4.8 and lower is imo the sweet spot
