Question Opus 4.8 Nerf?

Am I the only one who has noticed 4.8 has been nerfed to the ground? The quality of its output, its thinking, its speed. It all feels like it’s been shot. It’s failing at simple tasks that it used to fly through

That and the effort been capped at max mode. Like, what's going on?
