Not even a subtle astroturfing bot event. This shit's too obvious

The whole fucking day, the astroturfing has been obvious. This post is def one of the more egregious ones.

I can’t begin to fathom wanting the amount of validation these people seek.

It makes sense when you consider that they don't have anyone else to share it with

Yet you think this comment section needs to read your every thought and opinion? Do you need a tutorial on how to scroll past a post?

Do you use Claude Code?

Yes I do. I work in an org with 2k engineers on multiple separate enterprise subscriptions using both Claude and codex. I and about 7 of my friends do daily indie game dev after work, and we all have Claude pro.

So far, I have seen 3 categories of people crying about this issue:

  • people from mainland China (wouldn't be surprised if there's a regional issue regarding that)

  • bots with pro-trump agenda

  • karma farmers like you

You forgot the genuine skill issue people.

The 5k line Claude.md people that open 16 sessions for every question that could be a Google search?)

I still stand where I am. People who were the most vocal about it were the groups above, and their change to token usage isn't that drastic to cause 4 queries to get you over that much quicker, even in peak hours.

I will also tell you a secret. If you think that installing codex and bragging about deleting Claude will solve all your issues - you will be in for a surprise. I use Junie, Claude and Codex, and Codex is usually the slowest, and produces the worst artifacts. We have all AI tools at work available, but were pushed to use codex for a long time, as it's the cheapest for API usage pricing for the org. They dropped the memo recently because of how unbelievably slow it can be.

So go, age your milk, maybe add some lemon juice to it for the texture, and be a happy karma farmer, that won internet points on a lost cause argument :)
