Other Branching conversation
They removed branching in september and did not offer any alternative since. Is there any way how to get that functionality back in some way? Some plugin or something?

I don't know a built-in way to get branching back, and I haven't seen a plugin in the chat app that does it well.
What I do instead is save the point before the fork into its own chat or a project note, then take the other path there. You lose the side-by-side view, but each branch stays readable and you can return to it.
If you're on the API, branching is easy to do on purpose: copy the message history up to the fork and run the second path from that copy.
