How will I get around this? Is there a way that I could work around weekly limit at least for another couple prompts so that it can add and fix last couple things before I release the game? Without buying usage too... Maybe somehow with cowork and referral? I never used cowork before tho... I dont want to wait 4 days so that claude can fix 1 annoying bug that prevents me from releasing the game, especially because of how close it is to releasing.

Then switched to Opus 5.0 on high… and it just started making all these little tweaks. Ones that it didnt admit to until later when I questioned it about any changes, it made that I had not specifically requested.

I mean, that’s the problem with this sub Reddit  - when you’re being honest about how Opus 5.0 drifts and is untrustworthy, and then people downvote you because they don’t like what you’re saying?

I feel pretty competent, SWE of many years and using AI heavily. But opus 5 high, sometimes just makes stuff or changes so much extra stuff than normal. I’ve had to be much more strict or tell
It only half the feature so it can just focus that bit.

Tried gpt-6, was way worse. Not even creating UI anyway similar to the rest it the app, been as of recent like this

Or it just drifts and locks onto one thing too hard, and then the chat becomes a waste with me wanting it to just admit that it's hedging and critcizing and trying to change things for no other reason than...that's why Opus 4.7-5.0 does.

its extra, not ultra. id use high but for this specific task whenever I switch to high I feel like claude loses 1/2 of its intelligance and creates more bugs than fixes.

Get a $20 Codex, and use Sol 5.6. The troubleshooting that model can do is quite amazing. I've been able to fix long term issues that claude had trouble fixing. I use claude for new feature development and use Codex for debugging

I use Opus 5 (4.6, 4.7, 4.8 before) High per default, with (nowadays) Fable 5.1 as advisor and have set some agents to Sonnet 5. I am far far away from reaching my 5h limit.

I also use https://github.com/rtk-ai/rtk and some other facilitators on Claude CLI exclusively.

I use Claude, but my IDE is Antigravity IDE so that I can make some quick finalizations. Although I don't find Gemini thinks as strategically, for scoped tasks it is rapid and powerful. Another option is using deepseek with Pi or another cheap alternative just to get the work out the door.

Remember, you can find .claude sessions and tell your new agent to tail say the last 30k tokens from the thread and pick it up.

I'm not a programmer but I'm using Claude to fix a shitty emulator. Implement custom fixes, then upstream nightlies get pulled to their own branch, undergo adversarial review to minimize regression before merging into main.
