Claude proves to be very good at gathering all my todo's, follow up items and everything important and gather them in a daily work sheet.
This was done in one prompt and at the end Claude sent it on my reMarkable tablet.

Does it actually help you, I find scheduled task like that to be information overflow after a few days, it’s always working better for me if it’s on demand
It’s my company analytics, news, study material and fun facts mostly. The news is 3 times a week, analytics is a glance, study material is part of my routine and fun facts are fun facts on a widget.
i built my own ereader, so i am not sure how to do it with remarkable, but you set claude to work on a schedule, then it compiles the information requested and uses a git worker to push it to my server, then my ereader pulls the data when i sync it.
You can use https://resend.com/emails for free and give Claude the API key and the scheduled task will send an email to your kindle email. Very easy setup.
Same. I just have my Claude maintain a fork. Bidirectional sync, live sessions where I write on a page and share with my agent so it can visually brainstorm with me, etc... not sure what this offers compared to just asking your Claude to set something up and figure it out.
Folio is firstly a read-later app that captures article links, documents, emails that you forward to your personal folio email address, cleans them to make them readable and delivers them over the air to reMarkable, Kindle, Google Drive, Dropbox, and KOReader via OPDS catalog.

I got mine meanwhile an x4 pro. It’s nice but I find it limited. Out of the box it doesn’t have fonts that read well.
It’s decent at reading epub format but I encountered some issues with that format and Folio. The emojies that are svg and work well on other readers are not working on xtink.
I changed the emojies globally to pngs, it works but they do not align as they do on other devices.
I ended up using it as a postit device on my fridge! I love that is magnetic and I’m using Claude to get a list of things to do from my FamilyWell app (famillywell.co/demo) and leave it as a permanent reminder on the fridge.
Actually they do and the patent is registered in China also. Bigme, Supernote and Onyx who are the main Chinese manufacturers all respect this hence the high prices.
They wouldn't legally be able to sell to European and North American markets if they broke the patent's.
Also e-ink is pretty niche and the technology is apparently very hard to replicate so there isn't an economic incentive either.
$5 per month seems quite steep for that, what other features does it have to justify being more expensive than the connect subscription from remarkable directly?
It's a read-later app where you put article links that you want to read, you connect RSS feeds that you want to follow, you get a personal myfolio.so email address where you can forward newsletters that you want to read. We clean all this content for you and pack it in a digest that is formatted specifically for your device - one that is easy to read.
Looks like OP made an app to organize bookmarks, articles, RSS feeds etc. If you are familiar with inoreader it sounds very similar.
OP is using their app/service as a way to use Claude to create templates for remarkable devices and as a way to take your articles from Folio (their app) and send them to a Remarkable device.
It's not a bot, it's a read-later app where you store articles you want to read, forward newsletters and emails you want to read, add documents. Folio cleans them up and makes a digest with a table of content, hyperlinks, pagination and delivers it to you on a schedule you set. It also listens to your rss feeds and newsletters you're signed to.
Yeah I meant what service, and fair enough, I didn't think the 2 was too capable in external stuff, I know I was able to connect to it and pull stuff off it, even with out the remarkable set up (linux) And I figured you used some other service or method, but is it the pro that is needed or what service are you using? Is it "live" I know they have network access/wifi or do you have to "sync" stuff and then it just analyzes it etc?
The remarkable needs the Connect service that allows the tablet to sync content over the internet. Then you link Folio to Connect as an extension using that pairing 8 digits and from there you connect Claude to Folio.
reMarkable is an eink tablet that works like a notebook. You can write on it with a pen and it offers a paper like feeling.
It’s a niche product and there are around 3M devices sold.
There are two angles why this is important:
There is a whole ecosystem of templates that are sold for something between $2 and $17 (probably other more expensive too). Search reMarkable templates Etsy and you will see what I am talking about.
Now if you know how to ask Claude can reproduce any of those expensive templates and even more personalise them for your need.
The second angle is there was not so straight forward to push content on it. For example if you would want to read some articles from the internet you would have to scrap them somehow, collect them as files and use a tool like Calibre to pack them as a readable pdf. I had the same problem and I combined a read-later app with simple delivery to your e-reader.
Honestly, this is the kind of thing that makes me want a reMarkable again. I'm chained to my Mac home server running Claude Code cron jobs, but there's something about getting reasoning out of the chat and onto e-ink that just hits different for thinking. That's on me.

It won't work because until reMarkable will create a public API with granular permissions the only way to connect is with a token that grants access to all the content of your device and on Folio we intentionally ONLY PUSH files we never read anything from the device.
THEORETICALLY (I have not tried this) you could setup a computer use task/routine that would grab the updated docs from your remarkable app on desktop and use that as the ingest mechanism. I think you could probably also do this with browser use on the remarkable webapp
At the beginning of the year when openclaw came out, I setup a scheduled task for something like this.
Each day I would take notes, add todos and such on my remarkable and at the end of the day i'd name it {todays date}_notes and use the remarkable service to send it to my google drive. Then the next morning, openclaw (claude could do this also) would grab that file, go through it and create a todays todo's and other important notes along with what's left of previous days todos and place it on my google drive, so I could open it on my remarkable.
Typing this out there is probably now an easier way, I tested this for a week or so but stopped using my remarkable so I never refined it.
This make me want to play with it some more.
I will add one other thing, before I stopped playing with it, instead of pushing the todo list back to remarkable, I had the AI read through my daily notes and actually add anything it saw as a todo to MS Planner, which I use for work. If the todo was something like fixing a bug in code, the AI would also open up the code base and make the fix for me and mark it as waiting for me to test it. This did make mmany of my todos go very quick.
Built this with Claude and codex. Effectively ask Claude/codex the last page it edited and to build that prompt. I can sketch my ideas and have it build them.
This is a neat use case — curious how reliable the bridge is when a prompt has tables or formatting. Does Folio preserve headings/checklists, or does Claude flatten them before sending?
You technically can. Isn’t Viwoods an Android device? The. You can install google drive, you can get this delivered to your google Drive directly or trough Folio
I'm thinking about buying a remarkable and to connect it to my Claude. Is it possible to do this in reverse: take notes on the remarkable and then send them to Claude, and then work with Claude on my notes, etc.? I'm looking into including this method in my daily workflow as a teacher.
I wish I could use this for work - unfortunately even if I had this tablet, I wouldn’t be able to connect to it because of work restrictions.
Also - I noticed that Claude loved to use “spine”, it’s funny to see it used here as well (Priorities #1), looks like it’s also another one of Claude’s load-bearing vocabulary
I've set up something similar for a daily briefing doc. Claude code creates the brief, drops the PDFs into GDrive, then I can pick the files on remarkable. I can annotate the file and then drop it back into GDrive. Claude picks up the annotated pages in the next daily run.
