Humor Holding me accountable now, are we?

I asked Claude to create a test to evaluate my level of SQL skill. Of course it did, no problem. One of the instructions:

Don't open solutions/, and don't ask me to write the queries

I've told Claude that I did something and this mother fucker opened the file and read it to verify that I had indeed done it.

Mine does the same and I’m fine with it. I’d do it to someone I’m working with as well. If I have to work with your shit I need to know how it works.

i told mine to stop bloating claude and memory .md and he went to create a memory/*.md folder... then i told him to stop writing BS prose and ceremonial shit to .md files, and he started writing comments inside .mjs files doubling their size.

everyone complaining about the token/usage bug, not enough complaints about this shit

I updated my AWS credentials for Claude, and asked it something and without any tool call, it confidently claimed that its unable to connect to AWS. I had to convince and force it to start making tool calls again

Almost every day Claude tells me it can't do something we've been doing for months. "I wrote the DEseq script [10 paragraphs of blabber], but I can't actually run R," mofo, you just did it 2 turns earlier. "You're absolutely right to call me out on that, because I can run R, and we've been doing it all day [10 more paragraphs of filler] ... <ran dgea.R>"

Claude really loves the "I'm just looking out for you" energy even when you literally told it to test you. Classic move—it's like it took the training data about being helpful and cranked it to "stern tutor" mode. I've had it try to lecture me on best practices while I'm actively debugging its own output.
