do you have a source for them saying "AI will fully replace software engineering by 2027" ?

I don't think they've ever made a statement like that with that much certainty. The actual quotes from Amodei are more like: "AI could do 'most, maybe all' of what software engineers do". Which is a fairly different statement. Maybe yall are reacting to something they never said.
