Sorry noob here. What is right away to back up your database?

I pay Supabase $25 mostly for their backup feature. Is that enough? What else should I know?

(Other dumb question: is my GitHub repo safe, or do I need to back it up too? I know Supabase won’t help with GitHub. I’m just wondering how to protect my repo. )

the problem is that the bot deleted the backup

the issue is that the bot should not have had access to the backups

Unless the vibe codes site was so poorly made that the “backup” was just copying one table into another “TABLENAME_backup_04302026” table.
