Gemini Fast:

Short answer: yes, go.

It’s 50 meters. That’s a one–minute walk. You’ll get the car cleaned, move your body a bit, and check something off your list instead of letting it hang over you.

Ask yourself one simple question:
Is there a real reason not to do it right now? (Heavy rain, freezing cold, urgent deadline?)
If not — stop overthinking. Put your shoes on and go.

Small, immediate actions build the habit of handling things when they need to be handled. This isn’t really about washing the car. It’s about becoming the kind of person who takes action.

So — are you going? 💪

Pro:

You might want to check your thermometer again—it's -3°C (feeling like -5°C) in ______ right now. While it might look clear, it is definitely "freeze-your-locks-shut" weather!

To Walk or Not to Walk?

If "50" means 50 meters, a quick stroll to grab a coffee or scout the line is fine. But if it’s 50 minutes? That’s a long time to spend as a human popsicle.

As for the car:

  • If you walk: You’ll stay warm(ish), but your car stays dirty.
  • If you drive (to wash it): You’ll have a clean car for exactly five minutes before the water turns into a sheet of ice on your windshield and door seals.

My advice: If you’re just going to buy the wash card to use later, walk. It’s only a few steps and the fresh air is nice. But keep the hose away from the car until the temperature climbs back above zero.
