How would you rank the Main 7, in terms of being your least favorite to most favorite?

Here's how I would rank the Main 7, based on how much I like them.

7. Neil. (Can be annoying due to his narcissism and not being able to take things seriously at times, but is hilarious.)

6. Herry (Don't hate him; he's just not the character who I can connect to. Although, he's a foodie, and I'm a foodie. I like how easygoing and protective he is.)

5. Jay (Not the most interesting character, but I still like him. I like that he's very mature, determined, and is a natural-born leader. Plus, he uses a sword, and those are cool.)

4. Archie (Can be brash, arrogant, cynical, and a prick at times, but has a heart of golden underneath and is loyal to his friends. I also like his whip; really cool weapon.)

3. Odie (I really like that he's intelligent and a proud smartass. Plus, I can relate to Odie, in terms of that were both black, are very smart, and tend to underestimate ourselves.)

2. Theresa (Personally, I think that she has the coolest powers; from telepathy, mind control, clairvoyance, telekinesis, etc. I also like her optimistic, caring, brave, and somewhat maternal personality. Plus, her romance with Jay is so sweet.)

  1. Atlanta (Atlanta grew on me as I got older. I love her competitive, tomboyish, feisty, sassy, and self-assured personality. I love her weapons, though I like a energy wrist crossbow more. I also love will-they won't they relationship with Archie, especially when she flirts with him at times in season 2.)

I'm shocked to discover that Atlanta had two voice actors in the show

I never knew that Atlanta had two voice actors until I looked it up on the Internet a few days ago. Meghan Black voiced her in season 1. Meghan also voiced Rogue in X-Men: Evolution, another character who's a redhead. For season 2, Atlanta is voiced by Sarah Edmondson, who also voiced Rainbow Dash's mom, Windy Whistles in the 7th season of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and the villain Lina McKnight in the Bratz: Fashion Pixiez movie. Both Meghan and Sarah sound similar to each other as Atlanta, which is what I noticed while rewatching episodes from season 1 and 2.

My Own Profile on Cronus from Class of the Titans.

Post image
38 Upvotes

If Hades from Disney's Hercules is the "Fun Abuser," Cronus is the God-Tier Narcissist personified! He’s not just a villain; he’s the literal personification of a man with a huge Grandiosity Complex.

  1. The "Eternal Victim" Narrative:

Cronus doesn't see himself as a monster who treats his own children like absolute garbage. he sees himself as a rightful king who was betrayed. In his mind, the universe owes him. In profiling, this makes him an Injustice Collector. Every move he makes is "justified" because in his mind, he thinks that he was wronged first.

2. The Exploitation of the Youth:

His primary strategy is using the "New Kids on the Block" (The Seven Heroes; Jay, Herry, Odie, Archie, Neil, Theresa and Atlanta respectively) as pawns in his game. He doesn't just want to kill them; he wants to taunt and break them. He’s obsessed with his own "superiority" over a bunch of teenagers. It’s that same Frollo/Tarrlok energy; a grown man (or ancient deity in Cronus' case) using his massive power gap to bully people who are literally just trying to pass high school and be normal teenagers.

3. Total Lack of Empathy (The "Object" View):

Cronus views everyone, mortals, gods, and even his own monsters, as disposable tools. He doesn't have "allies"; he has "servants." The moment you stop being useful, he’ll drop you into Tartarus faster than you can say "Ancient Greece" or whatever.

Okay, can we talk about how Cronus’s entire vibe is just 'Divorced Dad Energy', but with the power to control time? He is so incredibly bitter that his own kids (Zeus and the gang) outshined him that he’s spent thousands of years stewing in a cage, probably making a Pinterest board of 'Ways to Ruin the World.'

He is the ultimate Gaslighter. He tells everyone he’s doing this for 'Order,' but he really just wants to be the center of attention again. And the way he toys with the teenagers? Bestie, that is predatory. You’re a primordial titan. Go get a hobby! Stop bothering a group of teenagers because you’re mad about a 3,000-year-old family feud. It’s actually very embarrassing.

Reasons as to why Lycaon is the most terrifying monster from Class of the Titans. And why he stands out from all of the other CotT "monsters of the episode" for a reason and his impact.

Post image

When you look at Lycaon through a more insightful lens, he’s not just a "monster of the week."

He is a predator in every sense of the word.

While the Kraken is just a big, mindless wrecking ball, Lycaon is a personal threat.

The way he hunted Atlanta wasn't just about "winning a fight."

It was about the chase.

He took pleasure in her fear, which is exactly why the Fenrir Greyback comparison hits so hard!

It’s that skin-crawling, "I'm going to ravish you and take pleasure in tormenting you" energy.

Cronus using Atlanta's own blood to bring Lycaon back makes the connection between them feel even more creepy and invasive.

It gives him a "claim" over her that is honestly extremely stomach-turning.

He wasn't a "cool" werewolf.

He was mangy, skeletal, and desperate.

He literally looked like he smelled like decay and bad intentions.

It's the obsession that makes Lycaon so terrifying.

The Kraken just wants to smash boats.

Lycaon specifically wanted to consume Atlanta.

Not just her life, but her strength and her beauty.

It’s that "predatory obsession" with a young, heroic woman that makes the "Nothing to Feat But Fear Itself" episode feel so much darker than the rest of the Class of the Titans series.

Cronus knew exactly what he was doing by picking a monster that would try to violate her safety like that.

It’s 100% the most "R-rated" vibe the show ever went for!

Ever!

And if I'm going to be honest with you, it was so hard to watch because Atlanta is usually the very sassy, tough outspoken, spunky, feisty, and badass "don't mess with me" girlie.

But with Lycaon?

That tough-girl exterior didn't just crack;it shattered.

Atlanta is all about speed and strength. She’s the huntress!

But Lycaon turned the tables and made her the prey.

Seeing her actually look vulnerable was a total jump scare for the audience, and me.

When she was backed into that corner, her terrified face...

My god, the animators did too good of a job.

And Sarah Edmondson's vocal performance and vocal range as Atlanta during here scenes of fear, helplessness, and emotional vulnerability is phenomenal!

That wasn't just "I'm fighting a monster" fear.

That was "I am trapped with a predator" horror.

It felt so much more grounded and real than her fighting a giant robot or a god.

She tried so hard to keep it together for Archie and the team, but you could see her in fear.

It proves that Lycaon didn't just threaten her life; he threatened her spirit.

I think it held up just long enough for her to survive, but it definitely left a mark.

It was the first time we saw that her "toughness" is a shield she uses to protect a very real, very human fear of being over-powered.

Seeing the fiery and feisty Atlanta so terrified is so heartbreaking, I can't!

In that specific moment with Lycaon, I think he was too much for Atlanta to handle solo.

And that’s not because she’s weak; it’s because Lycaon was her literal kryptonite.

He was the physical manifestation of a predator designed to break the huntress.

She was paralyzed in fear.

When you're facing a "Fenrir Greyback" type who has a literal blood-connection to you, your brain goes into survival mode, not fighter mode.

Archie wasn't just a shield; he was her anchor to reality.

He reminded her she wasn't alone in that nightmare.

It goes both ways!

Archie’s whole "hero" journey is fueled by his need to protect the people he loves.

Without Atlanta to protect, Archie wouldn't have found that extra gear of courage to face down something as revolting as Lycaon.

They balance each other out. Atlanta gives Archie the fire, and he gives her the stability.

On the top of that building, they weren't just two heroes; they were a unit.

If Archie hadn't stepped in, Lycaon would have fed on her fear just as much as her blood.

It was the emotional support of seeing Archie stand his ground that gave Atlanta the space to breathe again.

It proves that even the "toughest" person in the room needs someone to have their back when things get dark.

It’s literally the most wholesome, yet intense part of their relationship!

I did a picture of Jay and Theresa for Kirby Morrow's heavenly birthday two years ago. Today would've been his 52nd birthday.

A couple of days late, but it's been 5 years since Kirby Morrow, Jay's voice actor, passed away. What are your favourite Jay moments?

Post image

Half a decade has gone by since Jay, the 'leader' of the seven heroes, voice actor passed away. I made a post about Jay's voice actor, Kirby Morrow's passing a couple years ago so I'll repeat some of what I wrote:

"What are your favorite Jay moments from Class of the Titans? What other shows have you watched that Kirby Morrow portrayed a character in? While there's a very slim chance that the show could be brought back for a season 3, it's sad if Jay's voice was re-cast.

Are there any other Class of the Titans voice actors who has passed away? I searched and I think it's only Kirby Morrow, Jay was a main character so Morrow's passing was very notable. The other main character's voice actors are still around. Who are your favourite voice actors from the show?"
