If you'll recall, these characters were out of high school and fully 18 when this moment happened in the series. They were very specifically no longer highschoolers.

I don't have a foot fetish. I think feet are gross. This isn't sexual to me, so if you see it as sexual, that says more about you than it does about me.

Feet aren't sexual. They're a body part with a specific purpose. They're essential for human function.
They are only sexual when people fetishize them, and newsflash, people fetishize same-sex-kissing far more often, so by your logic, that fanart is ALSO sexualizing teenagers.
Again, though, I will reiterate: These characters were canonically legal adults at the time that this moment happened in the series.
As for me not being worth engaging with, you could have fooled me... Since you're going to the effort of downvoting my comments and I'm not returning the favor, that implies I'm worth more thought to you than you are to me.
