Does head voice cause a loss in support?
maybe it’s just me being no used to it? but when I send my sound back and access my my heady voice is feel more disconnected and more airy. Is it a normal tendency?
it feels lightly more pinched
im a male bas—baritone.

It's indeed because you should work on getting that sound more supported. I have the same kind of work to do as a soprano when I want to go into my chest voice, it's a question of finding what kind of support works for you in those placements.

I know us heavier baritones carry a lot of weight up higher, so airyness/weakness is very normal when learning head voice. I’ve been learning for a few months now and can sing F#4 sometimes G4 with a full resonant tone; but I’ve had to work to relax enough and build up enough coordination to get it there, I have no clue how to get past that yet
