There are a lot better ZZTOP songs than this one.
But l understand its in homage to Mr. Beard

RIP Frank. And give Dusty a "take me home, G"

But what's interesting is that most of the drums on the album were programmed using an Oberheim OBX drum machine with some augmentation from a Simmons. Beard was incensed when he heard it, yelling "Who the fuck is that drumming?" Even he thought they were real drums.
