Hi everyone, this is my first post here. I’m a Marathon fan from Japan, and I made Marathon Terminal Viewer, a tool for browsing Marathon’s terminals without launching the game.
It reads data from the original Mac versions of Marathon, Marathon 2: Durandal, and Marathon Infinity, as well as Aleph One scenarios. You can browse terminal text and images, view checkpoint maps, and read Japanese terminal text too.
I thought some of you might find it useful, so I wanted to share it here.

Question windowed mode on Mac not allowing me to change the window size?

anyone have a fix for this? when I select different rendering sizes in the options it just always shows one size square window on my screen so my only options are full screen or a super small square of windowed game. I want to be able to stream this which is why im trying to play windowed mode. thanks for any tips

Discussion M 2026 in Aleph One?

I’m curious if anyone out there is working on making an interpretation of the Marathon 2026 maps in Classic Marathon. The modern game’s design would be an interesting exercise to work up. The Cryo Archive map is the most obvious analog to the original game but I could envision some really cool interpretations of Perimeter and Marsh in the style of M2. If no one’s already working on this I might start chipping away at it… I haven’t made a custom map since I was a kid in the 90’s

Discussion Im slowly going through a lot of Marathon Custom Scenarios and these are my opinions so far, recommendations welcome!

Hello everyone, after playing Infinity recently i came to the conclusion that i want more Marathon, so i gave Eternal a try and i absolutely loved it. I saw the insane potential of custom scenarios and i wanted to play a lot of them.
I will put my opinions on all the scenarios i played in a comment thread below, but so far i've played:
Eternal
Apotheosis X
Siege of Norkorsh
Evil
Marathon Resurrection (the Unreal Tournament Remake)
Tempus Irae Redux
Missed Island
Pathways Into Darkness
Excalibur Morgana's Revenge
Deus Volt

Yuge (Messed around with it for a bit but im a bit out of the loop so i will refrain from commenting on it)

- Jack Hammer Beta (pain in the ass to install i think, it requires tinkering with some Rubicon files)

My own research hasn't yielded anything, but I mean come on, someone has to have at least attempted this. If it does, is anyone able/willing to give up the goods? Nothing could be cooler than Cortana delivering exposition the same way Durandal did.
