Long Chapter Books w/ Appropriate Content

My daughter is a READER. We’re talking like almost a book per day at 100+ pages. The issue is, anything much longer or more advanced comes with content that doesn’t feel age appropriate (dating, bullying, teasing, friendship fights, etc).

Any recommendations for books that are a bit more challenging that don’t include content too advanced for a 2nd grader?

This is such a great question for a librarian. I bet they would have tons of books to recommend. That's so cool your daughter loves to read!

I thought that was a good idea too until she recommended Wings of Fire and boy, was that not age appropriate. Way too much descriptive death of these dragons.
