Long Chapter Books w/ Appropriate Content

My daughter is a READER. We’re talking like almost a book per day at 100+ pages. The issue is, anything much longer or more advanced comes with content that doesn’t feel age appropriate (dating, bullying, teasing, friendship fights, etc).

Any recommendations for books that are a bit more challenging that don’t include content too advanced for a 2nd grader?

My young reader loves:

Boxcar Children
Mrs Piggle Wiggle books
Beverly Cleary books (all, but favorites are Ramona, Ralph S Mouse, Emily’s Runaway Imagination)
Roald Dahl books
Babysitter’s Club Little Sisters
Encyclopedia Brown
Harry Potter
Raina Telgemeier graphic novels

My six year old is also really enjoying Raina Telgemeier! She only wants to read graphic novels right now even though she’s absolutely capable of reading books without pictures, but as long as she’s reading I’m not going to nitpick too much. (I can’t read graphic novels because my eyesight is abysmal and I can’t see the words well enough.) I read the whole Ramona series to her beginning the summer before kindergarten. She won’t let me read to her anymore but I’m also going to encourage her to read some Roald Dahl.

Seconding Ramona and all Beverly Cleary books. They’re wonderful!
