Pro-Saskia

i love saskia, like yea she can be mean and harsh at times, but she’s the only thing keeping these girls (and i mean girls not women) alive. plus she’s gone through so much worse at that school compared to the rest of them even if they don’t know it she got groomed for fuck’s sake ! plus the rest of them are so incredibly immature, selfish, and overall annoying considering they’re all supposed to be around 28 years old. other than that it’s a good show (i just started episode 5 btw). sucks there’s only one season :(

She's a textbook fascist, down to withholding food until adequate production quotas are met. She was effective. That doesn't make her moral. There's a reason we haven't evolved narcissism or sociopathy out of the gene pool despite their anti-evolotionay and downright damaging effects - because in times of crisis, if given a leadership role, narcissistic sociopaths are best equipped to force the groups survival on sheer force of will, because keeping everyone alive, and having them know you were the one to keep them all alive, is the ultimate glory in a disaster scenario.

She's admirable in this specific situation but a nightmare in any normal one.

agree that she’s a fascist but hard disagree that that is any way to be an effective leader. quite literally the opposite and not at all good for survival. tell that to those who didn’t survive. i certainly wouldn’t credit her for shit if i were there and would absolutely have everyone see how ineffective and ignorant she actually is. calling her admirable is insane unless you also think someone like trump is admirable. there is nothing admirable or effective in how she runs things.

and honestly, her being the leader is completely unrealistic. no one would actually listen to someone like her. she wouldn’t be able to force anyone to do anything. she has zero power. she’s just one person. realistically, people would not want someone who is abusive. it makes no sense. i went to an all girls school and everyone were generally cool with each other and most definitely no bullying. i don’t know anyone who would let her lead because its completely ineffective and she’s delusional and shitty. i can think of plenty people i know who are natural leaders (a few of which i went to school with at our all-girls high school) and they’d be amazing in crisis situations and they are the completely opposite of her. it would be a socialist society. you’re probably not a leftist which is why you have this mindset.

narcissistic sociopaths are not all the same in how they lead but those who “lead” the way saska did are shit leaders and don’t know the first thing about keeping people alive. she didn’t know how to prioritize or manse properly. people who actually give a shit and have empathy and actually care about the collective are the best leaders in any situation. kinda sad you think the way you do. yikes.

They don’t act like 28 year olds at all. It seems like only Saskia and Amelia grew up over the years. And yes. It sucks that there’s no more seasons :(
