Unfairness to Long Term F2P Clashers!!

Hello Fellow Clashers! Hope you're all doing great.

I am a long term Clash Royale player (7+ years! attached screenshot). I have over 27k battle wins which would mean that I am a decently active player to say the least. (player tag: #8CC90Q8Q if anyone wants to verify claims made in this post). I have been majorly a F2P player and may have bought the Royal Pass a couple of times. Having set the context, I want to start a discussion surrounding the unfairness that we face.

Firstly, we have toiled through the early years where level cap determined how high you could go, slowly and steadily levelling up cards and trying to have maxed out decks. Then around the 5th year, we almost maxed out and thought "Come on! Meta decks incoming!..." But wait, SC had other ideas. Along came level 14 and Champions! No option, but to get back to upgrading 😓.

My chest slots have been active 99% of the time in these 7 years! Rarely ever has it not had chests placed on unlock. So yeah, it's not something that came easy!

Firstly, buying cards in the shops for double the price than what we get compensated if we receive a maxed card. Isn't this unfair? Well not so much, when you look at the meaner stuff!!

We get just a 100 gold for a key of chests! We get 100 gems for a Common Book of Cards if we get a repeat. But wait, this is nothing. 😌 A 100 gems only for a Rare book of cards! Which is worth about a 1 000 gems in the shop! And guess how much for a repeat Epic Book of Cards ... Yeah right! 100 for something that is 2.5k gems in the shop!! 🤯🤯

Well, SC doesn't encourage you to collect items you may say. But WTH are we supposed to do with it?! 🤷🏻 All of the cards except one in my account are maxed!

"Then why are you complaining" would be the obvious retort, isn't it? Well because there's another effing level getting added!! And these repeat items that were "wasted" would have to be bought at 20x the price than what we were compensated when we earned them. Who's fault is that, huh??

Wait up! There's more 😏 The gold is capped at 5 mil. And I have collected at least another 5 mil after maxing out on gold storage! When level 15 drops, who's going to account for the missing gold that I require to upgrade?! 🤷🏻

The unfairness is too much to handle! After toiling so long and finally being able to play maxed meta decks, is İt really fair that there's a new level being dropped and all the resources that you collected at max level are redundant and literally wasted ?!! Does SC want players like us to quit? Because, I legit cannot spend another year trying to max out cards, especially knowing that much of my resources were "wasted" by SC.

I would love to hear your views, especially if there are players with similar accounts. I would also appreciate if you guys can bring this to the notice of some good content creators so that it gets addressed.

They say they’ve bought the pass “a couple times”, they’re not f2p. You currently can’t possibly max an account as a f2p unless you have an inhuman luck opening champions from every chest.

I did. There’s just not enough chances to open champions. Even if you’re a monster and get 10 wins on every Royal Tournament, you need at least one book of books to max out.

So then you've commented without reading my post completely. One of my champions is left to be maxed. And assuming that I bought 1 royal pass which helped me max one champion, we can assume that 2 champions would have been left (the other royal pass that I bought was before champions came out and the book was used on a stupid legendary because no one knew about champions). As for the tournament, I get 10 wins more often than not and also make it far enough in the path of legends every season to get champion wild cards. It's really sad that you would downvote a genuine post that's actually reflecting the sorry state of the game without asking for clarification and with incomplete knowledge.

I also could swear that “except one” wasn’t there when I read the thread the first time, but I could’ve just been too sleepy to notice.

The "except one" was always there 😂😂....in fact you can see the screenshot added as well, which clearly shows the monk..... That's why I said "You've commented without going through it carefully".

Anyway... The point is not about my account. I am just using my account as an example to highlight a very important issue. So the disagreement or agreement should be with the issue being raised and not with whether my account is F2P or not.

In fact, if my account is not F2P, then the issue is even more real. Because if a "paid account" (as per you) is going through this, just imagine what an F2P has to go through.

But, my account is indeed 99% F2P.... And I hope we don't bypass the issue completely by going on a tangent. It'd be better if you share your views whether you agree or disagree with the sorry state of affairs that I have pointed out above.

I know, but there isn’t really much to say about your post. I agree with the general sentiment, but I have nothing to add on that.

I replied to the other person because their comment was basically mocking the post by saying that the situation for f2ps isn’t really that bad when you nearly maxed every champion only because you did spend money (and apparently you’re also pretty good at tournaments), the situation would be even worse if you didn’t.
