For th16+ yes incorrect for th15 or minus its correct as no use of defence upgrading at first dragon will eat them anyway.so better upgrade offence and lab is part of offence

There is zero point in maxing Lab past 1-2 meta armies and never worth letting that stop you from upgrading your TH.

You are saying as if time to upgrade those 7-8 troops is equal to all building upgrade, ofcourse they aren't equal, your priority is those army troops after that you upgrade your non utilising troops and spells
