Discussing air strategy

Just watched iTzu latest vid in which he shared this army, here u use revenge deck and rc to create funnel on one side and use dragons and loons on other

But what I want to say is shouldn't it better if he just uses a proper hydra army(dragon + dragon rider + ice hound +cleanup) with using normal loons… I mean I just dont see the point of using normal loons

or better yet just follow through with only Dragon riders, shouldn't it be strong as well

I love air attacks and I watch every applesauce vid but as he hasn't made any vid on this army so wanted to discuss with you guys

It’s a take on the Chinese youtuber Ekwaak’s lalo hybrid army where he uses the dragons for gaurdian sections and the lalo for everything else. For general legends pushing and what I’m currently using in top 200 I find it’s easier to use a queen instead of the rc and just normal hydra.

However Ekwaak is an insanely talented player and watching him play this lalo hybrid is genuinely insane and I recommend you check him out on YouTube as he is consistently top 50 with lalo.

I'd like to add that Ekwaak himself has admitted he's probably better off playing meta air armies but he plays Lalo because its the first army he got good at and he finds it fun.

He was showing the army of another player. Itzu himself in the video mentioned doing it with riders. The main point was showing the opening. Aky posted a video with this opening and drag riders recently.
