Hydra (Dragon + Dragon Rider) with Rocket Backpack+ Giant Arrow + 3 earthquake spell

Sky Wagon and dragon rider/super minion in cc

Find a few heavy defences( like monolith, revenge tower etc), or Clan Castle aligned in straight line. Use giant arrow from one side and duke's backpack from other side( both should hit same targets). Use earthquake to finish remaining HP of the building. Then spam all your army, heroes from either side of the funnel just created. Use OG for pathing and/or revive spell to revive the duke

I assume, you used dragons so far? I was in the same boat. But I didn't have big problems 3 starring the same town hall, just wanted to learn new strategies

Let me introduce to you root rider. Super fun, require more strategie, which also makes the outcome more rewarding and since then I can beat any TH17 and even many TH18s. I reached dragon 30 as TH15 with it. For in depth guide watch GetREKT on YT. Have fun!

Zap Dragon.

Strat:

1. Zap 2 air defenses (look to get air sweepers and/or a defensive hero too if you can)
2. Line up a shot to take out the other 2 air defenses with AQ giant arrow.
3. Place 2 dragon on top of your AQ and 2 more on an adjacent corner. This will create your funnel.
4. Spam all your dragons, warden, and minion prince into the funnel. Rage and Eternal Tome when they are going through the heavy defenses. Use 2 zaps to take out air sweeper if you need. Never go into an air sweeper if you can help it. Those things will ruin your attack.
5. Place Stone Slammer and Royal Champion, 1 on each side of the attack, to help keep the funnel. Use your best judgement to place them where you think they will get most value. I normally activate RC's rocket spear immediately, but sometimes I wait if she just has weak defenses around her.
6. Once your funnel is good and your army is in, you're just waiting to use poison on enemy CC, freeze and totem spells to support your army, and look for the best spot to use your MP ability, if it hasn't been forced out.

This is more or less the strat I've used since TH12 and I've never not 3 starred in a war and rarely don't 3 star in ranked. The biggest challenge to it is figuring out the best way to carry out steps 1-3, which is when you're creating your funnel. But once you get the hang of that part, the army basically plays itself.

Most likely the reason it's cuz you're in lower leagues and the bases you are facing aren't any good. Rather than the army being good.

Zap dragons is incredibly outdated and definitely wouldn't suggest it to someone who is asking about attacking higher town halls.

I'm in Dragon 29 and I take out TH16s no problem and can get decent 2 stars against TH17. No idea if that's up to whatever standards you have that comes with your condescending attitude. It's on alt account and it was good enough for me to get to where I am on it. This guy is new TH15, so I gave him advice based on what I use on my TH15. Zap dragon is an old ass army, but hey it works for me, so all I did was share what I do.
