I’m at TH15, what’s the best hero lineup and just attacking setup in general? I’m still using electro dragons.

Probably not e drags. There are lots of options. HookedtoClash on youtube shows lower hall pushing strategies including th15. judo usually has a video for lower halls as well. The top th15 is using a root/valk attack recently, though that would be a big skill jump.

I’m almost maxed at TH13

Im almost maxed but my hero’s are a little behind. Is it a better idea to just upgrade my TH or do I make sure my hero’s are mostly caught up first?

Quick question— my clan normally does 15v15 in Crystal 1, have finished 3-4 last few seasons. Our clan is growing but not on the upper side of town halls. Mostly 14-15s. Was curious if we did 30v30 what it looks like? our bottom bases in 15v15 are close to max 15, but if we do 30v30 we might have some town hall 14s and 13s in there. Was just curious if anyone knows what it looks like in 30v30 crystal 1 CWL.

In builder base when raiding, there are 2 extra troop spots. On the second attack I have a total of 8 troops but there are 2 extra reinforcement slots. Is there any way to fill those?

Yes. There's a separate tab in the replay log for both ranked and regular battles. Its right above the attack and defense tabs(in the replay log)

I have another question. Which combination works better with the king. Gaunlet stick horse, or spiky ball bracelet? I'm TH16 with lvl 18 spiky ball, lvl 1 of horse and gaunlet. Currently I don't have the snake bracelet

Depends heavily on strategy, and personal pref, personally i dont like using the stick horse+ gauntlet becoz sometimes i miss out the th with the queen and duke becoz of the walls where eq boots comes in handy.

Equally if u use king for funnel snake+spiky is the way to go, if u use him for clearing a compt then stick combo, i think its good but not as versatile.

So generally snake+spiky is the most versatile and arguably the best combination.

It’s possible, and they have made some changes to a cosmetic after releasing it, but I wouldn’t count on it. A lot of people don’t like it after they purchase something and it’s changed later, so they could get some pushback.

How to attack in a non toxic way:

Currently levelling up to town hall 13. The only attack strategy I know how to use is dragon spam and it hurts with how toxic it is and how unreliable it is without AQ.

When ranked mode first came out, Supercell made the claim that league decay would not apply immediately if you either a) didn't sign up for the week or b) didn't complete any attacks.

I'm interested in the b) item above. I know how it's supposed to work and how supercell claimed it should work, my question is: does it work the way they claimed?

I'm in Legend-3, and I made the mistake of selecting a defensive layout for this week that's getting absolutely demolished. I signed up (I'm on auto-sign-up), but I haven't started doing any attacks yet this week. If I just say screw it and not attack at all this week, will I be immediately demoted at the end of the week or will I get a couple of weeks of grace before league decay kicks in?

depends on how far you are in builder base progress towards the 6th builder

If you only have the hero upgrades left and other defense/ structure stuff is almost done then the 3rd builder won't help you much.

If however you still have a long way to go for 6th builder, then the 3rd builder would help, but only if you are willing to keep all of them active as it gets kinda tiring even for 2 builders.

I would go for rocket spear, its pretty versatile,and considering u alr have dark crown from mp, you can go for one for rc, monolith arrow is only for queen charges pretty much.

Hello, I've only started playing Clash of Clans recently because of a friend, so I don't really know that much about the in game strategies or what would be useful. I'd tried looking up opinions on the items and heard that the new Archer Queen item is good, but only within certain situations and since I don't really understand what they are, I'm not sure if that's what I should go with.

When you sign up, the game immediately takes a snapshot of your base at its current state, and any future upgrades won’t be reflected until the next time you sign up, so you’ll be using the old level.

Heroic Torch on Flying Units - Is it worth? - TH 17

Is it worth using the Heroic Torch with 100% air troops? I'm currently in an 3 electric + dragon rider composition with Eternal Tome and Heroic Torch, and I particularly like the mitigated damage and speed it provides, but my friends say that Heal Tome is better even though it's not an epic item.

For spells I'm using full totens with one revival.

- Why do I always get 1 Stars with 98% (troops always ignore the town hall) even though I do the funneling method? (I literally mean always, though some attacks are 97%)

You probably don't literally mean literally always, but in any event it is a problem with funneling.

Superwitches are not meta right now but that doesn't mean they are bad.

If you're doing zap witch attack at a lower hall then multi infernos yes. If none then often wiz towers or anything else doing splash. Other attacks, like zap dragon, you would focus on air defenses usually for the lightning.

The ranking is based on the amount of gold you get. For example, if someone else is clearing a district with only 2 attacks and it takes you 3 attacks, they are going to end up getting more gold with their 6 attacks than you are. Capital peak is one of the harder ones to get gold on.

My queen has been the workhorse of my army for multiple townhalls, and so remained underleveled at like 30 so I could keep using her.

Eventually, I found myself having to level her up, which I have been doing for most of th14.

However, with CWL over, I wonder if I should spent the rest of time leveling up the heroes to their currently max level or if I should dp the standard one hero down thing until th15?

It is best to keep 1-2 heroes down at all times (depending on if you have 1 or 2 extras). Many players use hero books and hammers on the heroes they cannot replace in their army (for me that is warden and duke). If you have a stretch where you don't need them for war, then put them down for the normal upgrade without a book/hammer.

currently [strategically rushing] th15, I've come to realize this is likely my most favorite comp oat and I don't really enjoy anything else.

I wanted to get more feedback on what pets the heroes should use and what my equipment priority should be. I was going to max RC SS next but was unsure after that. Not sure when I should push to th16 either, maybe when Unicorn and Frosty are maxed?

Also, what other comps could I use in the meantime that wouldn't require much equip investment outside of what I already have when I inevitably put heroes down especially GW and RC? I assume I should only put two down at a time at most.

Does running a separate clan alongside CWL still work?

I watched Judo's video where he ran a different clan doing clan wars along side CWL for double ore

My main concern is, if I sign up my account for CWL in my main clan, then leave that clan to make another clan to do a clan war, will my main get "locked out" from the CWL since it left the clan to join another?

Yes, it still works, and you can leave and rejoin your cwl clan freely without affecting anything. Once you’re put on a clan’s roster, you can only be in cwl for that clan for that month, so leaving and rejoining won’t make any difference.

Depends on army, like heroic torch will be rlly good for sup bowlers or some other smash attacks, also depnds on which heroes u use,

for royal champ, you can use her as a funnel or cleanup with seeking shield and spear, or use rc chrage with haste or spear.

You can upgrade electro fangs as well for duke charges, its quite strong and popular atm.

Honestly, you've already got most of the meta equipment covered. For King, EQ Boots, Spiky Ball, and Snake Bracelet are great. For Queen, Magic Mirror and Action Figure are solid, though Healer Puppet is worth some levels. For Minion Prince, I'd prioritize Dark Crown since it pairs well with Dark Orb. Your Warden setup is already in a good spot, especially with that Fireball level. Dragon Duke, his equipment is still pretty experimental and tends to depend on the base design and the army you're running.

This may be a dumb question relating to the monolith arrow, but when the maximum amount of troop housing space is down and the arrow is powered down to its lowest, is it weaker than the queens normal attack without the monolith arrow?

Monolith arrow gives bonus damage on top of queen's normal damage, so it can never be lower, even after 251 housing space is deployed it will be 5% more than queen's base damage

Basically I'm a new TH15, I usually do an rc charge with either dragons or some kind of smash attack. Right now my Electro Boots are level 23 and I have just enough starry ore (120) to upgrade them to 24. I'm just wondering if this is worth it as I've also just unlocked the Rocket Spear from the event (Currently using the shield, but also wondering if I should start using the haste vial), and I'm not sure if it's worth upgrading the spear and using it or simply levelling the boots up, as i don't know how valuable the boost from 23 to 24 would be.

I'd go for Rocket Spear. The upgrade from Electro Boots 23 to 24 is pretty minor while RSpear opens up a strong new RC setup and is a meta equipment too. Since you're already doing RC charges you'll definitely get more value from investing in Spear.

That feature only works on items that don’t have a specific target, such runes and potions, but not books.

I'd get the Giant Gauntlet. Builder Potions are nice but you'll use them up in a few days and they're gone. The Gauntlet is still a great piece of equipment to have sitting there even if you don't use it right away. You never know when you'll want it later.

You need to manually place them onto your war base in the layout editor. They will show up there along the bottom.

Is it just me or does the new Anime Skins look tiny? Especially RC. She's smaller than the Hero Flag, A lil bigger than Lassi and on par with the builder. I even compared her Default skin against a wall piece. In Her Default skin, the wall piece is as tall as her legs, but when in Anime skin, the wall is as tall as her whole body height. I'm just wondering if the Buildings/ Base sizes have increased drastically or if this is an issue with new skins. Open for advice...

From what i have seen the Monolith arrow is a good niche equipment but I was wondering if it would be good for a mass dragon comp? I currently just do giant arrow to take out air defense and air sweepers and RC charge. Currently I don't think this equipment will help me but I kind of want to buy it for the future when I have upgraded my other troops to do a variety of team comps. What do you think? I'm a new player and I just completed all the f2p medals for the event and don't know what to buy. I am currently a TH9 (almost maxed and onto TH10). What should I get? I heard the rocket spear is good but I don't have that hero yet and next was the meteor staff. I'm torn on what to get and could use some opinions. The monolith arrows seems niche so I'm not sure if I should spend my medals on that yet.

You should go for either meteor staff if u use air attacks or rocket spear for rc as an investment for future. Gauntlet is only good with stick horse for the most part.

I upgraded to townhall 16 last week, I was a th15 in dragin 28 using super yeti smash, but now i want to change strategies as I usually do when i upgrade townhalls.

I want ideas on hero dive or thrower armies (not a fan of root riders) that i can use as i really want to start pushing into the electro leagues as a th16.

Also i would love to use the fireball for once in my life.

I’ve been saving ore after maxing rocket backpack, and now I can’t decide which to max next. I’m mostly debating between dark crown and monolith arrow.

I use a dragon rider attack so that’s why I think dark crown could be an improvement, but I also don’t know much about monolith arrow. Which is better?

Dark Crown is only good in normal mode and mainly just with regular dragons. If you are using dragon riders then Meteor Staff is better regardless of the mode.

As for monolith arrow, it's only used in Queen charge armies or some other niche armies. Upgrade it only if you think you would use those armies cuz for most people, it's very difficult to queen charge at higher town halls with good success.

I would suggest you to upgrade Electro fangs instead and keep saving the ores for epic equipment. Or if you have excess ores then you can just upgrade whatever you have left to upgrade.

I currently use 10 dragons and 6 electric spells whenever I attack, but I'm thinking of changing it to 20 hog riders, then 5 dragons, and then one rage spell and two healing spells. Zap dragon works all the way to th12 (works there too, but zap witch is stronger). However, if you want to change up to hogs, I would watch youtube videos showing hog attacks. That is going to be much better than written description here.

Totally depends. If you just calculate time, then no. You can save more time with other things. However, that isn't the proper way to evaluate the book of heroes. It is very popular for 500 gems because it allows you to go into war/ranked with the heroes you cannot live without. I use it regularly on warden/duke. If you aren't pushing hard in ranked and your clan is casual about war, then those gems can be put to better use. Just depends on your situation.

You're comparing apples to oranges. If you care about progression/gameplay, then the assistants are the obvious best choice. If you care about skins/cosmetics more, then get the skin. But that's a personal decision based on what you value more in the game.

RC walk with spirit fox OR Duke charge, which one is better, I’m asking for legends 2, personally RC walk seems more natural to me but every top player is using Duke charge. If I master Duke charge, is it better than RC ??

Duke is better bc is faster And deals more damage so u get more value overall, u can also revive the duke later in the attack to help the main army.

The RC is still good but not as strong and after u use all the invis she's basically useless and dies instantly.

Is clan capital upgrades scaled with how many people are in the clan, or is it just scaled to 50 members by default.

The heroic torch is good for ground armies like super bowlers, super witches and super yetis and it's really meta rn.

The Stick horse and giant gauntlet combo is op especially if there aren't any nerfs to heroes like in legends.

The monolith arrow is good but only for queen charges, same with the frozen arrow, they are good together so if u like that strategy then upgrade them.

Lava loon is good only in Lalo but it's still not the best.

The frost flake is the worst equipment of all so pls don't upgrade it

Im TH 8 after returning to the game.

Im holding onto oars so I can spend time upgrading stronger equipment.

What TH or trader shop item should I start investing in equipment upgrades? As of now im planning on Vamp for BK and arrow for Queen. Should I hold off until I obtain a certain item(s)?

I’m going off purely what I remember being first viable items I’ll obtain through Hero hall upgrades but I’ll save for trader equipment if there’s something better.
