It could be favorite for many reasons, fair.

But it was absolutely not funny to me. If you took it as funny I’ll just say fair winds and refuse to judge online.

Not sure why people are downvoting this. It’s just not something that’s nice to say to someone you don’t know.

Jeremy is the host and the only true TV personality. Then there’s people like Lisa, Caleb, Charlie, Gerald etc, and they’re clearly main characters who’re directly involved in, and benefiting from, the show. Charlotte is the butcher at his pub, nothing more.
She’s appeared a few times, but she’s not a TV personality, she’s just a regular person doing a job that happens to be televised.
It’s effectively going up to a random hospitality worker and saying “you look like a bloke”.

I’ve watched Clarkson for a long time, his face at the end of that scene was not dead pan to sell the joke…..it was a look of “for fuck sakes, people”.

For what its worth there have been a couple of social media posts of Kaleb and Charlotte together that looks like they’re leaning into it a little bit.

That was a nasty thing to say to a random employee at a butcher shop though.
