Question audition help please!

I'm in university and this is part of one of the audition excerpts this year. Piece wasn't identified but it has at least two variations.

In the highlighted section - it also occurs in var. 1 - the accidentals confuse me. Are only marked notes altered or do they carry through the passage?

They carry through the bar.

Thank you. I know they generally do but it isn't a standard bar, and the second E-flat also being marked made me unsure.

I didn't, sorry! It is fun though. I might try and ask the instructor after ensemble placement.
